Having translated your message, I must share with you that I happen to favor increasing immigration. What am I to do with this email?

Call it what you will. I think immigration is a healthy thing for this country. The government doesn't require I have a card or paper or visa to enter California from Michigan, why should someone coming to California have to go through such bureaucracy to get to the same destination?

I am fortunate that my guy is a wonderful repub who is head of the Armed Services Committee - Duncan Hunter. I don't have to email him - I know how he will vote and I know it will represent me every time.

I have no problem with legal immigration, as I have extended family who came from Russia, the correct way. The scum that oozes into CA is a whole diferent problem. Also, to answer your question, as a citizen (?) you are entitled to move freely within the common states as granted by you redident status. As a non-citizen you have no rights in this country. If someone is here illegally, then we can assume they are a criminal and should be treated as such.

Spoken like someone that lives a very long way from the Rio Grande. You don't have a clue what effects illegal immigration is having on this part of the country. Illegals in particular do not assimilate into our culture very well. There are so many of 'em, they are recreating their own little slices of Mexico here in America instead of "melting" into the American pot. In 20 years(or less) "they" will be the majority in Texas. What then?

Gub, Is that a CA ping list? No, that's every conservative on Free Republic who believes illegal immigration is a severe problem that endangers our nation. All 250 of us nationwide. Scary, to say the least. Are you boning up on your Spanglish?

Where you just incredably sloppy in your wording?

If you don't know the answer to that already, then I doubt anything said here will convince you.

Then you won't mind personally sponsoring their stay, would you? or do you actually mean what you wrote if it comes down to YOU having to support them?
I sponsor Immigrants - legal ones, BTW, so put your money where your mouth is. Sponsor them or clap your trap.

Oh, I don't mean my comment in a hateful, denegrating way either. I just think those who see illegal entry into the US as okay should have more at stake in the issue than just an opinion...
