I assume you mean "Legal" immigration?

Call it what you will. I think immigration is a healthy thing for this country. The government doesn't require I have a card or paper or visa to enter California from Michigan, why should someone coming to California have to go through such bureaucracy to get to the same destination?

I have no problem with legal immigration, as I have extended family who came from Russia, the correct way. The scum that oozes into CA is a whole diferent problem. Also, to answer your question, as a citizen (?) you are entitled to move freely within the common states as granted by you redident status. As a non-citizen you have no rights in this country. If someone is here illegally, then we can assume they are a criminal and should be treated as such.

Spoken like someone that lives a very long way from the Rio Grande. You don't have a clue what effects illegal immigration is having on this part of the country. Illegals in particular do not assimilate into our culture very well. There are so many of 'em, they are recreating their own little slices of Mexico here in America instead of "melting" into the American pot. In 20 years(or less) "they" will be the majority in Texas. What then?

How can someone who has a quote from Jim Robinson about the illegals and the welfare state on their page make such a myopic and uninformed statement?

Where you just incredably sloppy in your wording?
Having your handle hacked by Cheap Labor lobbiest,
or a complete idiot.

Its one of those 3, take your pick.

If you don't know the answer to that already, then I doubt anything said here will convince you.

Then you won't mind personally sponsoring their stay, would you? or do you actually mean what you wrote if it comes down to YOU having to support them?

I sponsor Immigrants - legal ones, BTW, so put your money where your mouth is. Sponsor them or clap your trap.
