I am sore today. Wednesday morning I got our chainsaws back from the repair shop. Several large bushes (at least 10 feet tall), with gnarled thick trunks are now short. I also took out a few scrub oaks and privet hedges. But I'm paying for it. I can hardly lift my arms today. I'm glad its raining now when I don't want to work outside.

I think I'll quilt instead.

I'm in awe of your using a chain saw. Those things scare me.

On another note: What a contrast this Arafat hysteria is to the funeral of our beloved President Reagan: people w/flags lining the streets (some weeping) and/or lining up for hours to pass quietly and respectfully past his casket.

More material for satire....Arafat's coffin pushed and pulled all over the place.

The gas powered ones are much heavier than the electric (but dang those cords get in the way & beg to be cut in half!.) I know the feeling of sore arms like that. Another side effect for me was heavy use of that, power mulchers, hedge trimmers etc have contriubuted to my hearing loss. Arms, shoulders, neck, back... lots of upper pain!
