I'm reading the Newsweek series on the 2004 election. Interesting stuff, but I don't think the media still has even a scent of a clue.

I think all the lefties, libs, and media received a fax the day after Kerry conceded. They all say the same thing. I'm on a booklist where most of the members are in serious denial, anger, and depression over President Bush's re-election. They never mention Kerry, it's like he's the afterthought.
I am seriously thinking of unsubscribing from that list. I hate to do so, but it has been very revealing to see what some of the people are thinking. One said that America reminded him of the days in 1980 Iran. They're all very upset about the same-sex marriage laws, one member has gone so far as to say that 'some people need killing.' One has been thinking about moving to New Zealand, and she started the process after the election.
There is NO way to reason or unite with them. That makes me sad since I have met a couple of them and we have become friends.
I think I need to go to bed. I've kept my leg propped, but it needs to be propped above my heart to really do any good....

Good morning to you! Are you unwinding now after the stress of the election? I usually take about a week or two after a big event for the euphoria to wear off.
Good Morning Jem. I had about a week with no meetings, then it was "Out of the Frying Pan into the Fire" for me.
I've had several meetings and an overnight trip since the election. Next week won't be quite a busy.
Our posting has dwindled to about half of what it was just prior to the election. I think a lot of us have turned our attention, and rightly so, to other projects.
I hadn't been paying attention to the number of posts, but I'd noticed there isn't as much activity here as in the past.
HGTV is now showing a great 'tour' of a Frank Lloyd Wright home. It's the Running Water one in Pennsylvania. It's a good alternative to the simpleton, Julian on FNC.
Sure has decreased a lot, maybe they are just taking a break from the election.
I've recently discovered HGTV. I enjoy a lot of their stuff especially when it comes to the landscape design.

Hi!, talking about carpet, the kids installed wooden floors throughout the whole house and I don't like it, it is a Ekco(sp) chamber throughout this two story house, drop something on the floor and it is like a rifle going off. Course the reason they put the wood floors down was to save money, sil's daddy installs floor and did it for nothing.
