We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Terrorists in Fallujah attempted to break out yesterday, but came under withering American fire as they had nowhere to go.
US troops have also launched an offensive into Mosul, Iraq's third largest city, after terrorists there attempted to relieve pressure on Fallujah.
Arafat has been memorialized in Cairo, and will be buried in the West Bank.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
It was quite sickening to hear someone on MSNBC defend the hysteria in Rammalah by saying that we see a similar reaction in Detroit when the Pistons lose. I turned the television off then.
And this tidbit from our president who spotted the hypocrisy of those who don't believe the Iraqi's are entitled to freedom:
"There is a certain attitude in the world, by some, that says that it's a waste of time to try to promote free societies in parts of the world. I've heard that criticism
But if you do not believe people can be free and can self-govern, then all of a sudden the two-state solution in the Middle East becomes a moot point, invalid. If you're willing to condemn a group of people to a system of government that hasn't worked, then you'll never be able to achieve the peace."
An excellent article from Frontpage Magazine titled "Saddam was the ATM to Al Qaeda":

Guenevere, good news re: your get-away weekend! Hope it's an especially relaxing one for you.
I'm going to plow thru some more jobs/errands today, with the hope of a little R & R tomorrow, and maybe Sun., but nothing fancy, just a little reading time, maybe a good movie..
I think it is going to take me two weeks to get my house put back together! Last night I was looking for a purse and it was in a box out in the garage! LOL!
The good thing about this is that as I put stuff away I am getting rid of things we don't need. I culled a box of books yesterday from two bookcases. I am a bad person for holding onto books long after I have read them...even though they are not going to be re-read. Anyway...off to Half-Price Books with them.
The gas powered ones are much heavier than the electric (but dang those cords get in the way & beg to be cut in half!.) I know the feeling of sore arms like that. Another side effect for me was heavy use of that, power mulchers, hedge trimmers etc have contriubuted to my hearing loss. Arms, shoulders, neck, back... lots of upper pain!
Good morning Molly and All. It's NO WONDER the terrorists run like chickens.....the TRUE COWARDS they are, always hiding behind masks, especially when they saw off a head of a poor helpless soul....when they see these BRAVE WARRIORS coming at them!
Keith Urban will be at our playhouse square in Cleveland Sat. It is sold out. I wasn't planning on attending but there is a nice article on him in the Friday entertainment section. Molly also there is LARGE part on Akron restaurtants & entertainment. I know you get the Akron paper.. you might want to pick up this issue for reference in future.
Off to get some things done (maybe, hopefully, )
Hw is suppose to be buried facing meca on his side, all that tugging and pulling bet he is facing towards hell.
Good morning folks. Having internet connection probs here today so will just post and run. The scene on TV reminded me of swarms of locusts on the ground.
I was surprised though, to hear E.D. Hill get in the face of some Pali representative who tried so compare Arafat to George Washington saying the Brits also thought G. Washington was a terrorist. She didn't let that slide and when he was confronted on it, he backed down quickly saying that to the Pali's Arafat is like a G. Washington.
One of the Marines who's been killed in Fallujah is from a burb near here. 19 years old, please offer some prayers for his family. I happened to see local ABC coverage on it last night and they showed some girl his age saying that he had sounded scared, the Marines wasn't what he'd thought blah blah.. Just sickening but typical from ABC. A teacher of his was interviewed and said that kid had been a Marine in his soul for years, bore himself like a Marine etc. Disgusting from ABC to air this little girls comments, she doesn't even know how she discredits him with them.
I'm back to reading just a bit and hopefully Mr. Prairie will get us back up and running later. Have a great day everybody.

This is one time that it isn't so bad being cubicle-bound, TV deprived.
LOL! Nice one GC6!
She asked for her school assignments so I guess that is a good sign.
I am leaving now for Oshkosh, about 50 miles south of here.............have to play for a wedding.........rehearsal from noon to 2:00, wedding at 3:00. Then drive back home and get to a 6:30 rehearsal at a high school for a musical I'm playing for next week.
I was supposed to play tomorrow for an all-day thing in Appleton but begged off.............got a friend to cover for me. I need a day off to just "be". Then on Sunday,I play for all 3 Masses, including 2 special organ solos. Sigh..................
I had been dreading this weekend before the situations with my father-in-law and daughter came up........It's hard to keep going but people are counting on me, and I need the money, to be perfectly honest.
To complicate things even more, my asthma has been acting up...can't imagine why, it's not like I've been under any stress or anything..............
Well, my whining is making even me sick, so I can't imagine how y'all must feel about it.;^)
Thanks to all who have offered prayers for my family. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
Guess I'll hit the road.
Take care all y'alls.
p.s. You know what would be really cool? If the Packers could beat the cr** out of the Viqueens on Sunday.............wow.............talk about a stress reliever..........
Must I shout!! YOU ARE NOT WHINING!! :-)
There is a big difference between whining and releasing stress by leaning on your friend's shoulders.
Lean away, Mozie...anytime for anything...I can take it...Molly said I remind her of a water buffalo...:-) When I was in high school one guy said in a Russian type voice that I was strong like bull...
We are here for you.
I had to log on again and comment about the Bush/Blair news conference. Some of those Brit reporters epitomized the word "smarmy". When a question about Iran was asked some of them grinned like evil little monkeys. Truly looked slimey/greasy, yuck!
And that LAST question from the Times about Blair being Bush's poodle was beyond the pale! I'm glad that the President and Prime Minister called it done after that question. Sort of a slap to the media wankers.
OK, I'm back off-line and back to work. bbl I hope. Mozie, (((hugs)).

Ever since Dan got Rathered over the fake documents I have been hearing how CBS has fallen from the Tiffany network.
My memory and research on the Tiffany network seems to say they have never been right. They have on the big things rarely been right.
No-one showed up to help me move my stuff into storage. It's going very slowly. I may have to skip the Thanksgiving meal, because I have to get this stuff done.

Hello. Back from a trip, shortened by the fact that I forgot to take my meds along.
None the less, it was fantastic to see old friends.
Peterson jury about to announce the verdict.
Going back to read today's thread.

My opinion, it should have been 1st degree for both.
