How does one get tickets to the inaugural ball?
Presenting:
The Free Republic George W. Bush Inaugural Ball II
To be held at the Wyndham City Center Hotel in Washington, DC, on Thurs, Jan 20, 2005! Our first one was the hottest ball in town!! A limited number of tickets (1,000) to go on sale soon. You won't want to miss this one!!
But where do you sign up on there?
I think you need to be invited.
I believe you just reply to JimRobinson that you would like to sign up and how many are attending in your party.
We'll start selling tickets as soon as we get the contract finalized. Watch for the announcements later this week or next.
buck should be invited.
If you want a nice place to stay...do not count on DC. I have a room in McLean at the Ritz Carlton. They have plenty of rooms but here is the deal... The price is $330 something before tax. If you have an Amex platinum and book thru Amex then you get the room with tax for $359. + you get $100 in food credit. Only good for room service lobby bar and steak house. Note this only for people with "The Card". Anyone wanting to make reservations without the Amex should contact me, and I will consider getting you a room, after your check clears my account LOL
Seriously, this hotel is about 10 miles from the Ball and we will have a car. Parking there is $22.00 a day/valet or $5.00 a day self-park.
We are driving and if anyone wants a ride from the hotel, you can ride with us( first come first serve). Please let me know. I am soooo excited and glad to have a place to stay, as they are hard to find! Come on people let's party! We have something to celebrate.....In the words of the great Dick Cheney....BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
for $1000 I will let you sleep on my boat in DC - sleeps six - ignore the gunfire, that is just DC at night..
Are you talking about the FR ball? If so there is a link to sign up.
oh, and it is parked right next to trafficant's. tours of his derelict are available for $10/person...
If you want to go to one of the "official" Inaugural Balls, you need to have given money to the Bush campaign or know a GOP elected official that can get you on the list. Some "state societies" in Washington also have their own balls, and these tend to be better than the official ones. Kentucky and Texas are two that I know of, although tickets to the Texas "black tie and boots" ball are nearly impossible to get.
LMAO, Gee thanks, but I'll take my AMEX rate with the suite upgrade....LOL
He said it depends.. he is not sure yet if he will be in town:(
I LOVE Sean Hannity. It would be worth the trip just to say "hello".
What is the final price of the ball?
