My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

An observation and bit of humor from LunaRed this morning, thank you.

The family of man is centuries old, having come a long way toward civilization.
Incredibly sending space ships to other planets;
taking breath taking strides in medicine;
inventing complicated computers; building monstrous freeways.
Yet it is only in the twentieth century that he has managed bathroom tissue.
WHY?
To: LunaRed

HEARTS OF TWO TO ONE
Serene distances between planets
On a starry starry night
Shooting stars burning out
To heavenly sights unknown
Lips that burn to the touch
Hearts that overstroke in lust
Fantasies of the night we trust
Red hot passions awaken the stillness
Of the starry night
Look deeply into my eyes
See the dreams of my sunrise
Where my heart sees only you
Scenes of many views together
Many turns dicern the heartflow to one
My thoughts turn to you
Awaken upon the steely dawn
Where my heart cries for your touch
Just one more day of the approaching sun
Breathing the cool crisp air
Duty stations that call to the one
Where you have taken my heart from
Take this spark from this heart
I freely give to you
Know that the many scenes of my dreams
Always come back to you
So on this night planetary delight
Where my lips reach you
Spark of my heart touches you
Though the many miles we are apart
Memories of you always shine through
Within this beating heart that lives
Only to be with you again
To feel your touch upon my skin
And your lips feverently touching mine
Awakens my heart to everlasting sunshine

A Winter Sunset
Placed upon the backdrop of a teal grey sky, crystalized trees stand placid. Brittle and petrified, they cast long leaden shadows across tawny washed snow. Beautiful and ablaze, they glimmer in the afterglow of a winter sunset.

Not yet.
I'm two to three hours south of you, so I won't be getting it until later.
I'll be driving in it later on today, as will several others in my immediate family.
