My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Home For The Holidays

Of all the gifts that I've received
Over many and many a year,
The gifts of love and family
Are the gifts I hold most dear.
The family Christmas gathering,
The fireplace aglow,
The pumpkin pie and candles,
And the lightly falling snow...
On this peaceful winter night
I watch the snowflakes fall:
The gifts of love and family
Are the greatest gifts of all.
May the spirit of Christmas live in us always!

Thank You, Lunared for your contributions.
Taps
The purple night fell slowly on the day;
and the day swept slowly away trailing its rich golden robe.
In the somber tree,
a bird was busy quieting her young.
The grass lay in waiting for the morning dew.
On the walls shadows danced
and in the brook the night waters laughed giddily along.

God Speaks through nature
I ask the Lord if He loved me even with all of of my sin,
and on the darkened window,
a glimmer of light where none had been.
I asked the Lord if He heard me when often I talked with Him,
and through the leaves I heard whispered,
His gentle voice on the wind.
I asked the Lord if I would be happy,
throughout the years He'd lend; and I saw a golden butterfly float buy in the sun and the wind.

BEYOND TIME
Mind over matter
Overwhelmed heart takes the fall
My body feels so cold
Soon all this passes away forever
Sooner or later closer to lifes edge
what will I see beyond
Distant dreams this future holds
From here where does my soul go
Suddenly without warning comes a voice
Lonely heart speaks from the dark
Within the world of many stars
She awakens me to a new day
Unknown futures to unknown ends
Depending upon the growing love of a friend
Leaveless trees upon a frosty morn
Awakens to a cool Ontario day
Visions I have of a future day
Within your eyes I silently pray
Beating of two hearts wiling away countless hours
Love may burn upon the pyre building desire
For now my best friend is the hope inside
That grows with every passing hour
Im getting closer I want you to be there
As two dreams slowly unfold
I dream of the passion of the touch
Torrid burning of souls beyond lust
A new beginning for us
While our hearts yearn for the feverish touch
Awaken from your slow slumber
Somewhere inside your thoughts wonder
Am I really in there as you are in mine
SLowly the feelings will test the will of time
Somewhere upon some rainbow you may be mine
