I live in Arizona. Believe it or not, McCaniac is not well-liked here by Republicans, in spite of the fact that he just got re-elected. The problem is the power of incumbency. NO Republican, not one, ran against him in the primary.

So what's a conservative Republican to do? I'd slit my wrists before I'd vote for a DemonKat, so I voted for the Libertarian as a protest vote.

**McCain .....total wasted glue sniffing RINO.**

I don't like McCain but IMHO he is no RINO he is foremost a Republican, he can sometimes have strange leanings eg friendship/aliance whatever with Kerry but still a Republican and for this reason alone would never have taken the VP slot on Kerry's ticket.

IMHO he does not particularly like GWB but has worked tirelessly this campaign to ensure a Republican is voted back into office hardly the actions of a RINO.

He loves his country and his Party and will always be a Republican.

The Dems want to change the constitution also.
So that Jockitch Chirac can run against Arnold in 2008.

Newsweek Election Issue

Kerry, after he wrapped up the nomination in March, went back after McCain a half-dozen more times. "To show just how sincere he was, he made an outlandish offer," Newsweek's Thomas reports. "If McCain said yes he would expand the role of vice president to include secretary of Defense and the overall control of foreign policy.

And Kerry calls BUSH an "idiot"?

Speaking of rubbing, I'll bet McCain is rubbing his hands together in anticipation of running for president in '08! We have GOT to find somebody wonderful to put up for nomination that will prevent that happening!

If Arnold could run so could a person like George Soros who doesn't have this country's best interests at heart.

The Founding Fathers were brilliant. We will lose our greatness if we change the Constitution every time someone wants something.

I think there is a difference between a western republican and an eatern one.

In the East party identification is much like being a sports fan, you stay with your team right or wrong.

In the West you stay true to your party, but you also dont like to go along just for the hell of it (something in the water maybe..), if something really pushes your buttons on way or another thats ok.

The left likes to push this idea. Beware. There probably is a foreign born mole/Manchurian leftie which they are actually doing this for. The left is strongly dominated by commies, remember.

Thanks for voting this guy back into office Arizona...

It keeps him off the street and is less expensive than multiple rehab, my friend. ; )

McCain's critics should real Hugh Hewett's book, "If it isn't close, they can't cheat". He makes a good case that we need every Republican we can get, even the RINO's.

No individual, not even Bush, can get anything done alone. It takes a party, and specifically, it takes a majority. Without that, a member of Congress can't even get a hearing on a bill, because the majority leaders set the schedules.

We don't even have 60 in Senate yet. We need every (R) we can get. Even a McPain in the @ss. If only because we know that he will vote the right way for the leadership positions.

He needs to be gotten rid of. But the way to do it is through a primary challenge BY SOMEONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY GET ELECTED IN NOVEMBER! A hard core right-winger that will never actually become a senator is far worse than a RINO that is one already.

I don't disagree with you. I was just struck by the rhetoric. It was funny.
