Only brick-and-mortar stores that aren't overrated are bookstores. I like to be able to read in a comfortable chair for two or three hours, or browse the stacks.

And I can stash it away to laugh at in coming years. I had completely forgotten that I printed out the first NaNo novel I did until I came across it when I was rearranging my bookshelves. I didn't reread the whole thing, but did parts. Some of it was better than I remembered...but a lot wasn't. Heh...

Yeah, bookstores rule! There's nothing that can replace browsing a nice bookstore. In my case, used bookstores are my very favorite. Man, I love the smell of those places! And I especially like 'em when they're just the teensiest bit disorganized, so I can feel like I've accomplished something when I track down something wonderful in a pile.
