I am pleased to announce that I am currently enjoying my first snowfall. It's coming down pretty good, and I am loving every minute of it.

It flurried all day but all it did was get the roads wet so I didn't mind too much.

If I recall, we'd all been chatting on each of the hundred or so FoTR review threads ecurbh posted around the premier and through Christmas, so many of us were acquainted at Christmas '01, if that counts, and I think it does!
Snow is good! Too bad you can't ship a snowball back to the desert, I bet they'd like it there too!
Some not too far from us got snow last night, we had rain that was ~almost~ frozen.
But, to be pedantic, we weren't Hobbit Holers yet.
And I think we should date our anniversary to the day of the "New Zealander Builds Hobbit Hole" thread.
1/26/02 is our anniversary then!

Hard to imagine it's been almost a year since Entmoot, isn't it?
Does it seem like it was yesterday? Or a long time ago? I think for me it feels like a long time ago... A lot happened this summer.
And not long now until we moot again :~D
Yeah, I'm jealous of the weddingmoot participants. Sigh... and six months isn't "not long"...
