Rather is spinning like a dervish for Kerry, spinning ways for the rats to win Ohio and Nevada on provy ballots.

WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL DAN RATHER NERVOUS BREAKDOWN THREAD!

If it were a reversed situation, and Kerry had "won", but Bush challenged him on Ohio, you can be damn sure no American MSM would restore 20 Ohio EC votes to the "results still out" pile, and also accordignly, hold up announcing other states that were nearly 96% in for Kerry. This sucks.

Hope the Ohio count is still moving - taking forever to finish up the count -
What lame excuses the media is using to keep from calling the final states - I wonder what reason they will use to put off the Ne. total -
With vote close to total they don't call those states - but make sure the second the Kerry vote goes his way - it's called -
Soon I hope this is ended -

I remember a sign in a bar that said, "Anyone that doesn't believe in life after death hasn't been here at quitting time".

Dan Rather remove my own spleen with a grapefruit spoon than admit a victory for the President is hallucinating. I guess the trauma of a Kerry loss was enough to cause his subconscious to trick him into thinking that there's still a chance. His lunacy could go on for days.
It won't surprise me if I channel surf by CBS in a couple of weeks and discover that Dan is still at it. By then he'll look a lot like Tom Hanks did on "Castaway" - perfectly filthy, insane, and sporting a fully grown beard.
