I am a very conservative Republican. My son in law is a flaming lib. He has turned my daughter as well. Last time I asked for backup on freerepublic I was banned for awhile for putting a lib link on here. If you want to give me a hand go for it.. I may be banned soon again

Well, I can see a number of false premises in this section (the 100,000 Iraqi dead non-sense, and crediting The Guardian, perhaps the most liberal English-language paper in Europe). To tell the truth, I stopped reading it after that.

Just point out to him that the sight he is refering to is run by a Democrat Activist. This sight only records pro Kerry polls. There are about 12 different state polls that contridict his views but he will not post them. Much better site would be

I know first hand what the world thinks of America and it is not a pretty picture at the moment.

WHO CARES? Show me one example in the past 50 years where what the world thinks of America mattered. Or 100 years or 150 years. GET IT? Does France care what the world thinks, and has it ever? Or Germany, or Russia, or Great Britian? GROW UP. And this is what we should start telling France and Germany and I think that's what the Bush administration will be telling them Nov. 3.

Because we don't need to hear the lib viewpoint. It's been shoved in our faces for decades. We don't like the lib viewpoint. We have our own arguments with friends and family members, and somehow we deal with them without posting one-line vanities and cluttering up the forum with them.

Because liberal newbies always use a pretext of needing help, to post liberal $#!+. Just like you.

I'm sorry, my question wasn't meant to be hostile.
I sympathise with having a daughter turned like that, it has got to be really upsetting.

At the same time, if you are going to post a vanity in the news section, there should be more substance to the message. More information about the situation and why it is interesting, or ask specific questions of the readers. Thin vanities with little substance threaten the forum as a whole. As it stands the message just seems like a random odd thought. If everyone posted like that the forum would be unreadable and a waste of time. Just being honest, not hostile, I hope things with your daughter get better.
