Im starting to feel that way. Even if it turns out our way - the workday tomorrow will be insufferably long and the wait before we start seeing the state returns will be even longer...
Tomorrow will be short and sweet. Unlike the more poll-obsessed FReepers among us, I have confidence in the American people and the President.
I'm more concerned about my Java programming test on Thursday than I am about the election tomorrow.
I'm in Orlando and voting tomorrow...yes, it will be a long day and a longer night...doubt I will be getting my 8 hours of sleep tomorrow night, rather I will be nervously watching tv with prayers, fingers crossed and a glass of wine (or more depending on how the night goes)
No,Sept.13,1984 was.
Sorting through these damn vanities has me feeling like this fellow here . . . |
Yes. I'm having enough trouble getting work done as it is TODAY!
Fortunately the hotel has high speed internet, so as soon as I get back I'm logging on here and desperately trying to catch up.
If it's not resolved on Tuesday then I have to sit through meetings all day Wednesday with little chance that I'll be able to hit the web to find out what's happening.
I will truly find out, under the most severe circumstances, if I can take going cold turkey from FreeRepublic during a critical news event!
Pray for me.
Seriously, anyone who can, please PING me with any really important threads that I might otherwise miss. I need this place more than ever for the next 48 hours, but will have less access to it than at any time in the last 2 years.
I am planning on staying up all night and voting early so i can crash rather early then hopefully wake up with the good news on wednesday, or if its bad be so tired and out of it to not give a dang.
I have a serious feeling our country no matter who is president may suffer, with Kerry our security and economy is at serious risk, with Bush the world community hates us so much that it effects our economy, and drives the libs insane. So I am hoping for a knock out indisputable margin tommorow, anything less will probably spell a mini-civil war.
No the longest day of my life was June 10th 1995, the day I got married, the wedding took place at 5:00 pm, woke up at 4:30 am, didn't get to bed, oops, sleep till 3:30 the next morning.
I'm volunteering to work the Polls in Pelham New Hampshire from 10 til 2 to catch Democratic cheaters, so I'm sure the time will fly.
Gee, this morning I got laid off of my High-tech job of almost 20 years. My rent is due and some Kerry supporter smashed my windshield, and my Dad was recently diagnosed with Lou Gherig's disease. I'll be praying for you while you're staying at the Four Seasons. I can feel the tears welling up now. I'm not sure I can contain my grief.
yeah, but will you have access to FreeRepublic? Oh the humanity!
Not only your longest day, but your worst!
I wasn't into politics half as much as I am now, and the aftermath of 2000 made me very ill.
I pledge I will not let anything make me that nervous again.
