I can't watch either but every channel has someone on expelling the Kerry view. They have ganged up on us with all these scheduled appearances. We need something to slap the sheeple out of this hypnotic seduction that is going on. We have to do something to make sure we grab the White House or it's over for freedom and God loving people in this country.
You're right. At work where I develop pictures in a drugstore, I ran into a lady who said the same thing, she is a Bush fan. She fears for our country too, I told her, "I fear for the Republic," and she replied, "glad you understand it is a Republic, not a Democracy." She was married, she is kind of cute, my age (38) and a conservative. Today, a US Army lieutenant came in and I said, "I hope we get to keep out Commander in Chief," where he replied, "well, I cannot comment, but my car speaks for me," he had Bush stickers on it. I said, "I understand and don't worry, I won't rat on you and even would go to bat for you."
This election is more important than 2000 although if we knew what was down the road, then it would be just as important. Well, let's just say equal importance, I shudder what Owlgore would have done on 9-11. Back in 2000, I said, "we are at a crossroads," I just knew it but couldn't say why, but since 9-11 I now know the why. 2004, in that aspect, nothing has changed except it is even more important.
If FRankenKerry gets in, the Republic is finished to where we could be looking at one of three things or even a combination thereof. 1: Civil War II. 2: a breakup of the United States, you have two basic factions, the "retros" vs. the "metros." The "metro" DU crowd basically wants "Holland on Steroids" where we "retros" do not. 2A: It could be peaceful, the sides decide to part and go their ways although still taking part in NATO, joint space programs perhaps, and trade between the two. 2B: "Less than peaceful, maybe started off as #1 where the two sides now have a cold war ("The Long Drumroll" - see note:), a sort of mini version of what we had between NATO/Warsaw Pact. 3: We get in a huge war, maybe harmed really bad, say a nuclear war from Red China or the Islamic World. #3 can happen although it is possible that in this scenario, we could have scenarioes 1, 2A or 2B to complicate things. I know I don't feel comfortable taking about this, but I see it brought up, even the DUmmies at DU bring it up which makes me wonder if there will be a point where we cannot live together. I sure hope I'm just barking at the Moon as my tinfoil hat buzzes on, but as time goes on, I do see something possibly happening.
Putting away the "what-if" computer, all I can say is we need President Bush. We need this man. He is not perfect, there are some things I think he needs to address better like the borders and immigration for example. The thing is, do you think FrakenKerry will do any better? Nope and he will be worse. Getting back to what is above, some do say a Bush victory will be like a "stay of execution." Well maybe, maybe not, but we need to make things right again and if this buys us time, maybe we can turn it around. I say a prayer every night for President Bush and America.
I am scared of a FrankenKerry victory, Neal Boortz today had an excellent point where there are people other there that are so concerned about getting their piece of the government "Gravy Train" that they would be willing to jeopardize our safety in the War on Terrorism, the Cold War (if you think 20 years ago), and so on. This is wrong. I know I'm struggling now, but I'd rather struggle and keep plugging to better myself on my own two feet, at leasy I know I will be safer. I mean, what good is it to suck off the "Gravy Train" when you're drowning in your own juices from an chemical attack or you're just a collection of atomic ashes in the stratosphere floating over the Atlantic on your way to France?
Lastly, FrankenKerry to me, being a protestor and collaborating with the Communists in North Vietnam, our enemies while we are at war, is like the American equivalent of selling your soul to Satan. His war record, his Senate record, which is lackluster anyways mean nothing to me. His debating skills mean nothing to me. President Bush could have the debating skills of Sloth (from the 1985 movie, "The Goonies") and even look like Sloth but as long as he does the right thing and be thoughtful as well as being a leader and commited to a righteous lifestyle, he will get my vote and loyalty. The main thing with FrankenKerry is his assistance to the enemy in the early 1970's, because of that, he can just "talk to the hand."
Note: Being the role playing game geek that I am, "The Long Drumroll" is a reference to the North/South "cold war" in the 20th Century on an alternate Earth where the South won the Civil War in GURPS "Alternate Earths." The period of "detente" during the 1970's was called "The Parade Rest."
"Holland on steroids" is another phrase I came up with. Basically the "metro" faction wants liberal welfare, homosexual marriage, abortion, gun control, you know the deal. Well, if they want Holland, there is a place to go, Holland! Or there are other like nations out there.
Don't get me wrong, the ideals of America that we know and love and are fighting for will never truly die. Maybe nations come and go but the ideas will live on. Deep down inside though, I do feel President Bush will win although we are facing a rough road. Plus, I cannot fathom a FrankenKerry victory at all, losing is not an option so we need to stay focused.

"Thanks for clearing that up for me. What a nut he is. I didn't know that he tells people he's a Republican."
To put it in context, he was talking about the Constitution in regard to the detainees held without council. I'll see if I can load up the clip for you.

Laura had a Bush advisor on (Ralph Reed) and an author of the book End Of Faith (Sam Harris). OMG, Sam was really opposed to Christianity! He said that the Christianity in the White House was something we should be as concerned about as the Muslims are! THe impression he left was that Christians should be annihilated!! Ralph did a really really good job of talking about the double standard where Kerry gets a pass to be able to preach in churches, but Bush is maligned when he acknowledges that he prays.
Laura got the last word. :-)

In all fairness, he was ranting about the Constitution and how un-American the President is concerning the detainees in custody. Here's the clip to put it in perspective:

You have described the hypocrisy of the left. It is caused by a lack of shame as it is impossible to shame a lefty. They will say or do anything in the name of it's 'their right', no matter how absurd or inane. It is all they know.:-)
BTW: I was born in Texas. Cow City, USA...:-)

'I'm the Republican. I support the Constitution.'
He actually admits that Republicans support the constitution and that liberals such as himself do not! He should be in a straightjacket.

Phil Donahue needs to cut his ego in half and just go back to "That Girl".
To: april15Bendovr
I have to give Donahue his due. Watching him allow his audience to savage Dr. Eric Foretich started the slow and steady shift to the right for yours truly.
