I have to disagree with you about Ivana. She has distinguished herself only in her ability to out-whine

I didn't say she'd win or even that she was doing well. I said I enjoyed watching her. She was cute, energetic, humorous, and made a nice addition to the show. I liked Heidi last season for similar reasons, though she was not as good-natured or cute as Ivana. But she was interesting and funny. That's all I ask from a tv show. I really don't care who wins. But I'm betting on Kelly or Jenn.

"Remember, this time the prize is a "job with Trump," not "running a Trump company."...
I think the job working directly with Trump on day to day basis would be a better prize

I'm not even sure if they'd be working with Trump personally. I took "a job with Trump" to mean a job in one of the Trump corporate entities. If it means working in the august one's private suite, it would be, I agree, the best possible prize. And perhaps the worst possible job.

Well Ivana defiantly didn’t learn anything from Ole Slick from her time in the Big Ark because she lost the task in degrading humiliation and got fired while Slick Willie is still being paid good money to continually humiliate himself, lie, and try to rewrite history. She was brilliant for one shinning moment during the Levi task but that was basically it. She will only be remembered for dropping her skirt and jealously obsessing over Jen.

Jen can do well in the interviews and she has got a certain skill set but being creative and having problem solving skills comes in very handy when time is not a luxury and hiring a design team is not in the budget. IMHO it is best to be well rounded. In my life experience so far I found it is the people that can get a quick read on a situation and solve any existing problems and bring the project in on time and it is a bonus if under budget that make for good working relationships and good leaders.

So far they have all been playing it safe so they will need to show some type of good personality traits in the interviews to get noticed as more than someone who can just do a somewhat competent job.

I'm going with Kevin and Kelly after the interviews. Could be wrong depends on the boardroom. Sandy could still end up in the final two.

Well you were correct and I was wrong in intepreting Jen and Sandy's discussion of who would lead last week. The opening this week made clear that Jen passed on an opportunity to lead. Unless Kelly screws up, that huge mistake may very well cost her the win.

Well, there you have it. Kelly and Jen. Wish they'd shown more of the interviews, as any aspiring job candidate watching the show would have learned much from them. Such tough questions!

Thanks to the miracle of tv editing, both Kelly and Jen are so far doing perfectly lousy jobs with their all-important last tasks. Kelly is micromanaging to the extent that he has no clue where everyone is. Jen is locked into her typical avoidance pattern. But I remember Bill Rancic micromanaging to the max as well, and it gave him the win.

Is Kelly as skillful? Will Jen get a grip? Will their teams cooperate? It's anyone's guess. I vote for Kelly based on past performance and the business-gurus' post-interview estimations.

Whatcha think?

Notice how Trump set Kelly up to win. He gave him the event with the wealthier contributors. He gave him first choice of who to hire and thus he avoided Stacy R. Kelly's micromanaging is probably a good thing for this competition due to the fact that the fired candidates don't really care who wins. At first I thought Kelly had a far superior team to Jen's. Seeing John slacking off and not doing anything brought back images of Amarosa last year losing Jessica Simpson for Kwame. Unlike Kwame's situation last year where he had a loyal Troy to back him up John led all Kelly's help to slack off with him. I was hoping Kelly would have the opportunity to choose Sandy. Driven by getting revenge on Jen she would have been a good addition. If I'm any of the fired candidates I'm working extra hard so that any major company that sees me knows they can expect me to do a good job and be a professional. It is an opportunity to advertise your services and send a televised letter of introduction to any potential employers out there. Anyone who would hire John now has to ask themselves about how hard a worker he really is.

The fact that Trump picked Jen because she defended herself well just lowers my estimation of him further. Two weeks ago he praised Sandy for how well she defended herself from Andy. Around this same time he was chastising the PM's for letting Jen keep slipping by. How can things have turned around so dramatically? Jen out-screamed Sandy what does that prove about how well you can defend yourself? He really picked Jen because he couldn't have someone without the "proper" education running one of his companies. Same for Troy last year.

Does anyone know why Kelly chose Elizabeth over Pamela?

Excellent question. As I recall, he had worked with Pam previously but not with Eliz. Could be he doesn't like working with Pam for some reason. Hopefully not because he thinks she's too strong. In any case, it may have been a fatal error. Nobody likes working for Eliz and she's not tough enough to get them to work anyway, as Pam has proved she can do.

Kelly had better get his tush in gear, take charge of his personnel problems or he cuold be an endangered species. But still, I cannot see Jen becoming The Apprentice. Maybe in a surprise move, Trump will bring back Kwaame and Troy to help the foundering teams, then hire one of them. LOL

I wasn't at the computer at the time. I remember he did give his opinion about Kerik and he also thinks we should have private social security. Thinks it's sad Kerik has to leave but he think the White House did the right thing.

I didn't catch the first part of the interview. I wonder if Clintonbegone knows what he said. Next time I'll pay more attention so no one else misses out.

Many thanks for your efforts, cyborg. Donald, who was pro-Kerry now supports privatized social security. Gee whiz.

Do you think you can handle the three-hour Apprentice finale tonight? I'll probably fall asleep in the middle unless it gets very exciting.

I was certain that Kelly would win but Jen has come up hard on his heels and may overtake him. They both made amateurish booboos on last week's show. And then there's the rain problem at the polo field. What's the contingency plan?

Want to hazard a guess re who wins?

Kelly. I think.

I think 3 hours is stretching it....Im hoping Kelly wins because I don't think Jen has pulled her weight through this whole season....time will tell.
