Apprentice Ping for tonight. Apparently there is suppose to be some good fireworks in the board room
Calling all Fans
You're FiRed!!!
I think it's going to be the most dramatic rose ceremony...er board room scene yet!
I hope that Veto! is here, counting on her excellent commentary.
See my last post.
Is Trump gonna short the elderly fellow's pacemaker or will he dump the kid?
I can't help it,, I see the darn commercials but I refuse to watch a rich guy's program. ;-)
I think most guys who produce programs are rich.
probably why I don;t watch much TV anymore.. Have a good one. :-)
Hunkering down on the left coast in wild anticipation. Not going to read the rest of this thread until the rest of you are tucked into bed. Hope it's a good show tonight, as I'm getting bored with Survivor and need at least one show a week to perk me up. Donald, it's your responsibility. Else, the tv set is going to be thrown over the wall of Mar el Lago!
Next week Stacy is coming back???? What did we do to deserve this?
LOL That's what you said last week :)
I thought the winning recruiting commercial was great. But just seeing it played at Times Square wasn't all that much of a reward for the winning team.
Elizabeth was lost from the beginning. You could tell it in her voice when she was talking about how she got picked to be this weeks project manager. IMHO they should be chomping at the bit to be project manager and not drawing randomly. Secondly she and the team forgot what Donny had asked them to do and that was use emotion to draw the audience in. After all the 9-11 imagery, Mel Gibsons The Passion of The Christ movie, recent war footage, and President Reagans funeral if one doesnt understand the importance of the right imagery and sound track to provoke emotion and thought then they are clueless today.
The only smart thing she did was getting them to begin filming early but then she should have been writing a script and using the two-way communication devices to get the shots and the script across. Just shooting a bunch of footage and then try and have your team piece together a power point presentation is not the way to go. But her biggest downfall was letting the team drive her decision making and her constant vacillation on which direction she wanted to go.
The Donald was right to fire her without having to go to a second board room.
I know. They must feel pretty ripped off.
I wasn't, told husband that from her first 'Hamlet moment' with this team she was toast. They had no patience with her. I'd like to know what the idea was that she and Kevin worked on until 2:00am
I thought Andy's team's effort was quite good and looked very polished. Elizabeth's team's spot really was scary, especially the second time.
One thing that sticks out is that these guys aren't team players. Speaking strictly of strategy, I think the best strategy for a participant on this show is to voice his opinion and if the team leader shoots him down, shut up and do his best to make the leader's "vision" work. If it does, great. If it doesn't, then you can blame the leader in the boardroom. How could Trump fire you in that situation? You didn't make the bad decision. You were a team player. And you worked hard to help your team win.
In fact, if you really wanted to be sneaky and thought the leader was weak, you could wait until he tossed out his idea, THEN you could pipe in with some contrary idea, knowing that it would probably be shot down.
Lizzy wasn't very effective, granted. But I thought her team stunk, undermining her at every step.
Too bad they didn't have a real coup and fired her. Trump would've been impressed with that.
