William Shatner cd "Has Been"

Posted on 10/28/2004 12:14:27 PM PDT by der Hund

William Shatner has put out a cd of music and one poem. It is great, it stands as an artistic achievement. I am not kidding it at once rocks, is deeply personal, very funny, poignant and moving. It is called "Has Been" and I like it so much that I wanted to recomend it to everybody. Some of the contributing artist are Ben Folds, Joe Jackson, Aimee Mann, Brad Paisley, Henry Rollins and Adrian Belue(spelling?) Check it out you will not be sorry

Ok then. Time to lower the beeber dosage.

And everyone knows Leonard Nimoy's spoken word CD's whipped the hell out of Shatner's.

Don't forget Nimoy singing "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins."

Belew. Used to be with King Crimson, I think, maybe?

Oh, I know it, but the spoken word stuff is soooooooo much more horrible. Have you heard any?

I have that album. I bought it directly from Leonard Nimoy when I was a mere Hobbbit lass with pointed ears.

My best friend told Nimoy I had pointed ears. I almost died of embarrassment. Think of me when you listen to it--if you can stand to listen, it's pretty bad.

I've actually heard some of this -ahem- music on an alternative/modern rock station I listen to online.

The one with Henry Rollins is hilarious.

Nothing will match up to the earlier Shatner work. Here is a video of Shatner performing 'Rocket Man' in his full psychedelic prime.
