I've always considered Kerry toast, buttered on both sides with lies.
However, I am amazed that he could get even 30% of the vote.

No, this is no time for celebrating.
We still have to wait out a last minute "October surprise", probably scheduled for Halloween weekend.
We still don't know what the impact of gluts of newly registered voters, thousands of volunteer lawyers, errant judges, etc. will be.
We can't even count on November 3 being the day this whole thing is over with.
If this was 1988, we could count on things turning on way. Post Clinton/Gore, nothing is predictable--and half of it isn't legal!
