Hey, all you Jeff Gordon haters on FR today: He's a Republican!
Newsmeat (celebrity political contributions) ^

In just one quick Google search, I found a $2000 political contribution made by Jeff Gordon to:
TRIPLETT, KEVIN R. (R)
House (VA 09)
TRIPLETT FOR THE NINTH
Those of you posting today about which NASCAR drivers endorsed the president and using that opportunity to bash Gordon as "gay" are embarrassing. You're exactly the kind of people the Kerry-Edwards "Mary Cheney" stunt was meant to reach.

Look pal, just because Jeffie is a tad bit on the girly-man side doesn't necessarily mean he's gay. Whether he is or isn't, I couldn't care less. But I hardly think one campaign contribution makes him a Republican. Attacking ME will get you nowhere.

I never said that he was gay either. It is rumored, but I didn't bring it up in the earlier thread.

Ok, so he is a Republican. Ok. I still don't like the @$$hole. He is still a jerk. Even republicans can be jerks. This guy proves that theory true.

Oh! He's that piano player!
Someone thought he was the Nosh Cart Driver, and I thought he might be that frozen fish seller, but No! he's an ivory tickler. Splendid! We could do with a bit of music around here, what with all the glummy guses hanging about.

Then why was he the only one of the top 10 in points not supporting Bush in the earlier article. The person who posted that thread jump to an entirely incorrect conclusion. The NASCAR figures in that article are those who ENDORSED the president, which in political campaign terms means their names can formally be used in campaign news releases, ads and literature. Simply because someone does not formally endorse a candidate for such purposes, you cannot leap to a conclusion that the person does not support the candidate. Get it?

Look pal, just because Jeffie is a tad bit on the girly-man side...Look, pal, that's your opinion. In my opinion, Jeff Gordon is every bit as masculine as anyone else on the NASCAR circuit. But that isn't my larger point. You and people like you do John Kerry's work. THAT is what I despise and will attack at every opportunity.

It is rumored...It is rumored that Bill Gates is going to sell all his shares of Microsoft, but just because it's rumored doesn't make it so.
