Dixie Chicks: ‘Boycott Sinclair’
In what they call a "Sinclair Media Alert,” the country group The Dixie Chicks have called for a boycott of Sinclair Broadcasting for using "their monopoly rights to the public airwaves ... to sway the election in favor of a candidate that staunchly allows media companies to get even bigger.”
The Chicks characterize radio giant Clear Channel as using "its power to promote a pro-Republican, pro-war agenda,” and then proceed to compare Sinclair with Clear Channel. "Now we have a giant television company that is making Clear Channel's antics look like a day at the beach,” the Chicks' Website declares.
The Chicks also provide some legal analysis for their fans, maintaining that Sinclair’s plans to air "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal” on its 62 stations constitutes a "clear violation of the spirit of the law.”
The Chicks punctuate their alert saying, "during the past week there has been a massive backlash, and Sinclair is on the defensive. They are on the ropes and we need you to help us keep them there.”
It was obvious that the Dixie Chicks were on the radical left when they did "Goodbye Earl." ...nothing right about Thelma and Louise fantasies.
I haven't listened to those whores since their first screwup. They are a dead country group with nothing to offer country fans.
Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander...BUT they don't understand THEY all by themselves TURNED their "fans" away from them...no one orchestrated the "fans" turning their backs...what they don't understand is that the "individual" will always POST JUDGE a person, event or statement...and THEY wants us to PRE JUDGE a person, event or statement..just goes to show that a real Democart is "prejudice"....
Hmmmm....Dixie Chicks......name rings a bell.......who are they again?
Remember...it all depends upon who is being boycotted!

The Dippy chips look more "used" with every new picture I see of them. I picture them slumped over a bar stool, waiting for a cheap ride home in a few years. . .

Not only that, it is against the law for any company to come anywhere close to having a monopoly on the radio or TV stations in a single market. The Ditzy Chunks are either idiots or liars. Or both.
Pretty funny that they now want to suppress someone's freedom of speech, wasn't that what the Drippy SLits were saying that was happening to them?
If thought they were againts boycots, having cried about how mean everyone was for boycotting THEM.
