I heard a rumor that I can't substantiate.
It was passed on to me by a friend who watches CNN. She said that some political analyst stated earlier today that the Bush campaign has given up on Minnesota.
Did anyone else hear this?
I hope not. We certainly aren't giving up on him.
There seem to be a lot of things "off" with that map. Just one is that it shows Louisiana weak for Bush, when in fact it is Kerry who has conceded LA and given up campaigning there. I also question its showing Bush weak in Arizona, or actually anywhere in the south. I'm sure others can find more puzzling anomalies in that map.
Fox News gave out this map link today with three other links to 'fun stuff.' I found the map to be interesting, although like the polls, this map, too, can be tweaked. I really don't put a lot of stock in any of them.
Someone is trying to discourage GOP'ers in Minnesota! It's not going to work. We will WIN this state. I've taken off work on election day and will work to get it done. I encourage others to do the same!
I heard on Fox news about an hour ago that the President has no campaign stops planned for PA. Thats odd because yesterday the local GOP headquarters here in Harrisburg called and left a message on my machine telling me that I could have tickets for when he comes here on Thursday.
I agree.
I'm at the B-C'04 office in St Paul right now.
Everyone here seems to be going full bore. In fact, they got some additional office space next door.
But like I said, it was a rumor I heard. I doubted that there was any substance to it...but I had to ask.
I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Bush could win them all this year. He lost all three in 2000, but all three were soooooo close. The demographics in Minnesota have been shifting with glacial speed and persistance in the last six or eight years in favor of Republicans.
I think I would review my friendship if I were you.
