Kerry seems to know that President Bush, if reelected, will reinstitute the draft. Young men AND woman will be subject to involuntary military service and those who are older will also be subject to involuntary military service if insufficient numbers of conscripts are available.
What Kerry has not released yet is information that puts young people who actually vote for Kerry/Edwards on November 2 at much greater risk of being forced into military service.
A secret, official documentary now being prepared shows that the government can now enumerate those who actually vote for Kerry. When the draft is reestablished by the Cheney/oil company/Halliburton/wealthy Bush administration, you can guess who will be called up first!
This suggests that young Kerry voters are especially at risk should Bush be reelected! There may be some plans that young people can use to lessen their chances of having to spill thier own blood for Halliburton oil!!
There is one really clever way for young Kerry supporters to beat this evil plan and that is to simply NOT VOTE. If you are not on RECORD as voting for Kerry, then your odds of being called in an oil company draft are probably no worse than any one else's! YOU'VE BEAT THE SYSTEM!! Of course, if you want to get a real edge on beating the draft then, a vote for Bush certainly couldn't hurt.
If you are lucky enough to live in a state where Ralph Nader is on the ballot, then a vote for him will be a vote against George Bush but wouldn't be counted in the draft lottery as a vote FOR Kerry.
had me going there...
This will probably be causing an uproar on DummiesUnderground by nightfall. Afterall, most of their beliefs have started with someone making something up.
Is this really within the president's purview? I mean, is the whole Selective Service organization and all of it's processes in place and ready to go without any need for congressional approval for funding, etc?
If not, then it is even more irresponsible for Kerry to be talking about "secret" plans as if it could be unveiled and put into effect with the stroke of a presidential pen.
