Once again, here's a judge who needs to find another vocation or send him to Philly or Pittsburg to preside over some REAL criminal cases. Although the audience included children under the age of 18, Pennsylvania doesn't make this offense a 'sex crime against a minor' like some other states do, otherwise, he'd have to sign up and notify the police as a sex offender everywhere he went for the rest of his life.

I think I would pay for an appeal.

I grew up near Towanda which is for the most part still pretty rural. For this area, pranks like this are about as real as it gets. I'm surprised he was hammered like this since he entered a guilty plea. I was thinking more like serving 30 days and suspending the rest of the time w/ law abiding behavior would be more resonable for a stupid prank.

That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard. I wonder which states have such a law?

well maybe if junior had acted like an adult instead of behaving like a stupid idiot he wouldn't have to worry about facing a strict judge.
don't blame the judge. if this kid had a ounce of brains he wouldn't be in trouble.
if you don't wanna face the hang'in judge - don't do the crime!

Some people will be outraged that the kid received a jail sentence for indecent exposure at a school function. Would they be as outraged if he did the same thing downtown?

well, nobody said it, so I will...
i know the sentence seems a little stiff, but apparently the evidence stood up in court.
looks like the kid is gonna have to do a stretch...
he's lucky the spectators didn't take matters into their own hands...
etc..
