Did anyone think that the moderator did a better job tonight than the other debates? At least the questions were somewhat different.
I mean good grief, he could have said that he was so proud of Teresa, that she inspired him by her [whatever] -- surely there are some nice Rat political causes he could have named? A bland, but safe, answer. Instead he tried to make a funny and fell on his keister.
"[D]ebate #1 was a real stinker - at least in terms of presentation and style. What happened? Enquiring minds want to know."
My vote goes to over-confidence. But it may cost him, but he cannot lose, because Kerry cannot win. Or we will all lose.
>>First she has to put up with his unnecessary touching of Edwards, then he puts her behind his dead mother.
Not to mention having to wear a jacket that was only a big '57' away from being a human-sized ketchup bottle...
John Kerry insulted his wife in the view of millions by saying what he did about "marrying up". Compared to President Bush's deep and adored response to his wife and daughters and the compliments he paid them came from a man's heart. Talk about an arousal gap. President Bush above all things is happily joyously blessedly in love with his wife and is a proud protective father for his daughters.
Even John Kerry's botoxed face could not hide his utter souless answer to how he feels about his wife. Marrying up?
I don't think we were under the illusion that Kerry had class before the debate, and we have none now
