O'Reilly has been such a letdown, and I only watch when I really care to see a certain guest. His dismissive attitude toward the Swiftboat Veterans was deplorable. Last week, he said he felt bad for Dan Rather.

I just started watching his show over the last year. Was he better before?

The only way to get rid of Bill O'Reilly is for his ratings to tank. Fox is a business and they will air any program that they can that will draw the highest ratings.

I'm not in favor of getting rid of him. I'm in favor of slapping his face with a big slimy fish and telling him where he's gone wrong. Right now, he's pandering to the Democrat base who probably don't watch his show anyway.

It will affect ratings, and Fox management will notice. And they will tell him that something is wrong.

Whether he's too egotistical to figure out what is a separate question.

I LOVE TONY SNOW!!.....I havent watch OReilly since the night of the VP debate and he had all those Libs on talking so bad about Pres Bush and VP Cheney....he sat back with all that make up on his pasty face and acted so arrogant and "above" it all....

I have already e-mailed Fox News about how they have turned into another abc, cbs & nbc station & I would no longer be watching. I was turning the mute button on every time O'Reilly, Colmes, Juan Williams, Julian, Susan etc. started yapping that I couldn't take it anymore. I was getting a sore throat from yelling at them & I was worried I would break the tv set from throwing my shoes at them. I'm getting all my info now from FR.

I've been emailing Fox several times to get rid of MARTHA! And they gave her a prime spot at 2pm. Her voice makes me want to rip my ears off, plus, she is a trouble maker.

So, if they won't get rid of MARTHA, Fox surely won't dump Bill.

I think Bill Oreilly is just trying to maintain his audience and not upset the majority of his viewers. I don't know if he has a poll, like Clinton did, helping him decide whether and how far to cover some story. Mr. Oreilly has been trying so hard to be "fair and balanced", he has ignored the fact that if you're fair and balanced, and nobody else is, you end up helping the one's who are not. Balance is only achieved when both sides are given equal, unbiased coverage, unlikely in the modern era.
