Just a quick question to the Moderators. Why was the Christopher Reeve thread last night pulled after 400+ posts? And why was today's thread locked after just 5 posts?
It sucks to be involved in a discussion and then have the thread pulled or locked, with the reason being, "Pulled" or "Locked". I understand you guys have a job to do, but can't you type in a few more characters to give us a "Why" it was pulled. I mean, there's a place for "Reason" there anyway, why not use it?

Agreed, but in the present climate, events with suspicious
timing bear examination. Reeve was reported to have
considered suicide on a couple of occasions, and the
early reports lacked info to rule that out. It is now
ruled out.

The passing of CR is not, therefore, an opportunity for
attacks on him. The DNC pandering, and the mis-info on
stem-cell researcj, are valid targets for activism.
That is absurd.
Unless you are one who:
1) builds yourself up by tearing others down;
2)You truly believe you are God's surrogate on earth and have the directive to sit in judgement of that person's soul.
It probably took longer for your post to get pulled than Kerry to be on the stump exploiting.
You are correct and it did not, contrary to the absurd assertion above (I'm not bothering to go back and look and ping the person since they chose to misrepresent and be dishonest, I don't feel I owe them the courtesy), go nasty in less than 5 minutes.
I think some chastising posts went over the top and made it impossible for the mods to simply delete the very very very few posts of questionable taste, too.

Are you unable for some reason to articulate what about the thread you linked to is a problem?
Simply saying you don't like it doesn't cut it here. You must be able to explain yourself. There is nothing wrong with that thread but one comment. One comment does not a thread characterize.

If a thread is merely locked a message as to why it was locked will appear in the new top bar. If it is pulled it is gone.
