A very wrong assumption. His answer was stinko, but in all polls, fewer than 1% of Americans say abortion is most important issue in election. You don't win with 1%.

And even though he voted against the ban for partial birth abortion he is actually for the ban on partial birth abortion.

He doesn't personally believe in it, but "you have to find a way to let poor people have things they can't afford."

Not only is that "I'll give them money for abortion" but "I'll give them money for HDTV and vacations in France."

What a maroon.

Kerry stated he was against parental notification because he was not going to require a 16 or 17 year old girl that had been raped by her father to have to get permission fromn her father that raped her. Shows he has been hanging out with Teddy Kennedy too much.

The talking heads are picking Kerry on Fox. Sorry guys, Bush won this.

Kerry basically justified using fetus's to cure a non-lethal disease. It doesn't even matter to him that its not necessary. Scientists can simply us the placenta. This is where liberals make me sick. They use emotional arguments (whah! I have Parkinsons. I deserve to kill unborn babies so I can stop shaking!) to justify evil actions. "I dare you to say to my face you don't care enough about me to allow experiments on babies". I would damn well have no problem telling anyone with Parkinsons that they can damn well suffer before they assinate another life for their cure. I hate to sound cruel, but I won't endure this ends justifies the means nonsense.

My jaw dropped when I heard him say that. I knew the guy was a creep, but that "response" had me looking for horns!

WTF!? I would think that a man who raped his daughter and got her pregnant would want (and pressure) her to have an abortion. The bigger problem I would think would be men other than the father who impregnate a girl and want her to get an abortion to cover up the crime; parental notification laws would protect girls from that.
