I totally agree. I'd rather have a flubbed truth than an eloquent lie.

Kerry: "I have a plan....I have a plan....I have a plan...."

What could Kerry possibly have been thinking?

I'm also about sick of hearing John F'n Kerry invoke Ronald Reagan's name. I knew Ronald Reagan (at least through the television) and John Kerry is no Ronald Reagan.

I'm proud of the President. Kerry may be more polished, but I believe the President connected with viewers tonight. Kerry used the same, tired talking points he's been using all along. The President didn't have any "zingers", but he was forceful and appeared comfortable.

Looking it as impartially as possible: Kerry is eloquent but boring. I don't where he stands. Bush: Human, sincere. Responsible.
To: GEC
Kerry's thoughts: Let's see, I'll tell them a lie about Bush owning a timber company, that'll be good. I'll tell them he didn't have a plan to win the peace. That'll be good. I'll tell them I'm not a flip-flopper. That'll be good. ... Oh, and I'll tell them I've got a plan on John Kerry dot com.

Well, he didn't go around Florida tiring himself out. I think he pulled a few punches.
