Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner there may wait...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Just got back from knocking on doors for Bush/Cheney. No one else showed up to help, so it was just me and the association president.
A lot of folks weren't home (prolly out having breakfast), but everyone that was home were fired-up BC supporters. It was quite encouraging!
Anyway, just finished up my bowl of Honey Smacks and I'm still deciding whether or not I should tackle the dealership.

Cool beans! I'm sure the Jedis will be heroes to the pals they bring along.
Take lots of pictures. We'll be looking for a full report.

SHE also told him that the only reason he wasn't going to military school was that we couldn't afford it.

Ooh, I like that skirt!
Today seems to be alternating periods of homework and chores. And it's a gorgeous day... and the neighbor is blaring rap music at me... wish I were hiking.

I have to be productive... sigh... but later I'm gonna take a little walk.
Did my laundry. It's sitting there waiting to be folded.

Hullo! My sister and I went for a hike. Not in an official place...but up through the woods and then back down by another way. Four or five miles maybe. It was gorgeous, but windy!
And I did more story outlining, so hopefully this year I can finish without finishing the beginning and thinking "NOW what do I do? There's a HUGH chasm between this and the end!" Of course...I'll prolly start writing and find the story going in entirely another direction. But at least I have a list of ideas to choose from. That should help no matter what.
Now we're gonna watch "Band Wagon" and get some letter writing done. Relaxing stuff.

In such close proximity to me, most certainly not!
I am fighting noise with noise - got my cd of my favorite Andrew Peterson songs on whilst programming. Time to go fold the laundry - I got part of the program to work!
Um... does anyone know something about xml? I'm having some trouble adapting an xsl stylesheet...
