We're going to work at the Coburn campaign in town. Steve and I will take turns making "get out the vote" calls and putting together yard signs with the jedis. So I won't be here for the debates.
I'm going to a debate party... actually, I'm just mooching off my conservative friend with tv, and we're studying for midterms together.
And, before anyone gets excited, she's female.
Well, I hope FR works better for tonight's debate than the last one.
I plan to "watch" it on FR, since I can barely stomach watching either Kerry of Clinton on television.

I'm at the airport... at SFO... flyin' back home after my "wonderful" week at da HQ. [sip] [sip]
Wierd thing here... I've been in and out of SFO hundreds of times, and I've never seen any military air traffic before. well... just a little while ago when I got to the terminal-- look out on the tarmac and there goes a Navy F-18 taxiing down the length of the airport just as purty as ya please. He turned off into an area across from the terminals that looks like it services cargo planes, and also has a place for private jets. Haven't seen him since.
I wonder what was up with that...
Ain't blowed up yet. With any luck I'll get a nice aerial view in a few hours...
Correction... the F-18 pulled into the area that looks like a United aircraft servicing hangar, not cargo.
There's a Naval Air Station on the other side of the bay... I don't get it. Maybe he had some sort of problem and couldn't make to the NAS and made an emergency landing here?
Heh. Finished the last samples that needed the Mac software. Okay...so when do we get rid of the steenkin' Mac?
Whoa!!! The Snowbirds just took off here... the Canadian AF demonstration team... ! Cool... Maybe that answers the question about the F-18... maybe he was some sort of escort for the Snowbirds...
Now there's a USCG C-130 and a CG helo pulling into the same place...

Been raining almost all day here... Hair's been off in Mordor today (I would have gone with her...), and I've been working on the barn, getting Bay's stall disassembled, and stuff ready to move around for the remodel.
Sounds like a good way to spend a day.
I'm logging off here in a couple minutes... gotta go find my airplane.
Sure will. Meanwhile, I received a forwarded email from an Army captain in Bagdhad. Looks like we'll be adding military intelligence to our fan base of grunts, truck drivers, chopper pilots, and sky pilots.
We have to thank g'nad for getting us a good assortment of Marines, but we have only a few swabbies and zoomies. And no coasties, aside from Ramius.

Is there an airshow coming up tomorrow in the area? Sounds like pilots are arriving today so they can be on hand first thing in the morning.
