Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner there may wait...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

What's 'taters' precious?
To: TalonDJ
"Taters" are what you put inside of pasta to make (bleck) pierogies.
Back from WallyWorld. Got some candles, yay. I think I'm going to leave for anime club early and go look at the bookstore... see if they have any new lovely manga.

I love manga... but they are like little candys that melt in your mouth way to fast.
To: TalonDJ
Like smarties...
I read most of them at the bookstore but some I'll read over and over. Like "Fruits Basket". Found the latest volume of that a week before I was expecting, last month; you should have seen me hopping up and down with happiness.
I also collect "Rurouni Kenshin". Other volumes as desired. I have a two-manga-a-month budget; but that can be... pushed around a little, since I haven't been buying books since I moved here. (Yay! Library!)

Heh. We started having family reunions a few years ago....when it was getting to be that the only time we saw each other was at funerals.

TPL strikes again! I only missed one question outta 50. Way better than I shoulda done.
Of course I missed was one I really, really shouldn't have. But...I guess I can live with that!
Now I'm going to have dinner and settle down on the couch for a bit with a notebook and my new package o' pens. I'll be back later to do data entry. ;-)
