It's interesting. Most interesting as a comparison to "The Seven Samurai" movie. I haven't been trying too very hard to find the latest episodes, but I'll be looking for them.

You'll like Full Moon wo Sagashite a lot more.

I'm just gonna sit here quietly and look at that pic. :)

(I'm so proud: the thyme that went into my stock came from the garden!)

I have thyme and sage and basil and oregano...but they won't last much longer!

I suppose I really should dry some, but I'm still not sure it's worth the bother.

I didn't know it (Burn's Civil War) was still expensive, wife got it for my birthday last year, so I didn't check the price. I remember deciding to wait on buying it back in VHS days because of price, after having watched it on TV. It's a very moving film, though.

Afternoon all...I gots a prescription at the drug store. Don't know what it is yet. Wife's gonna pick it up.

Visit with Nana and the Therapist (I mis-wrote, it was not the SW) went well. She can use the chair lift, AND she can get herself out of bed. She can't get into bed by herself, but that's workable.

Contractor and his son are here taking out the subflooring. It's a mess. And I wonder what they're saying in Romanian...

There was a movie that used Yakov Smirnoff as a carpenter who spoke very little English... had Jack Nicholson... What was it?

Glad to hear about Nana.... We are on our way to town for stall building supplies. Busy busy, back later!

I don't remember the movie. But I saw Yakov Smirnoff at the Comedy Club here way back in 1985...man we're old...

I mostly feel okay Sam, it's the nighttime coughing that's killing me.

Sounds like things are going ok for you guys... glad to hear it! If the perscription makes you see bunnies with pancakes on their heads, stop taking it.

Hey, I need some prayers... see, my grades aren't as high as I want (I need a 3.0. I'm getting that right now but I really want at least a 3.5) and I just feel a bit helpless, so if anyone doesn't mind praying in the next few days that my midterms (tomorrow and next week) and the assignments I hand in next week are really superb, I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, tough to sleep when you are coughing.
We are starting to see some change in our weather patterns (thank God) so I am assuming that it is now fall in central VA.

Corin, do you ever go down to the Bay on vacation or whatever, around all those peninsulas, etc.? Yorktown, Gloucester, and all that?

I don't get down there very often Sam, but I'm sorta familiar with the area.

I haven't been there very often either, but am wondering if it could be a good area for investing in real estate, as I think that it is not very developed yet. I imagine the natural beauty of that area might not go unnoticed forever.

That's great! Much more than you had expected, isn't it? I'm glad.

Hope the prescription does the trick quickly!
