Neil cavuto opens his show up re-emphasizing that Bush lost the debate to kerry and is he in more trouble wit the economy.
What with some of the polling data turning a corner and Bush starting to come back from the debate as the smoke clears what the heck is Cavuto thinking?
Is it the O'reilly affliction? - a determination to be fair and balanced no mattere hwat it takes?

No, Bush LOST the debate. Modern debates are won by glitz and shine, which Kerry had a lot more of. Sure Bush presented better facts, but facts haven't won a debate in 40 years. Bush LOST it, get over it, he didn't lose it by much and in the end it shouldn't stop him from winning re-election, but he lost the debate.

Totally agree....there is this merit badge mentality that many journalists have that places their skin and ego above the truth. They always seem to go out of their way to make sure people understand they are not wild-eyed reactionaries. They have their careers to think about see...

No, don't think Neil's an idiot. He's one of the few I can tolerate. His segment at the end always has something interesting to say and he uses common sense.
Beckel will make you pull your hair out until you learn to LAUGH at him...yeah, dunno what it is...thats why I love Sean H so much...he pulls no punches...not concerned that he mixes well with other kids on the playground...

Ginifer - Neil is a great guy from all I have seen of him. I would answer my own question NO but what he does sometimes is idiotic. If he consistently did it then he would be certifiable. It is my intent to remind people that we need to be freakin' careful of what we say...loose lips...we need to be more intelligent and think strategically.
Neil's ok, but his head takes up my 32 inch Sony tv screen.
