"Man on Fire" starring Denzel Washington.
10 times better thanwhat I thought it would be.
Kidnapping and revenge and action.
Anyone else seen it?
Clint Shartelle is definitely an original, durasell.
If you pay real close attention to 'The Seersucker Whipsaw', you'll notice an out of the way bartender named Mike. Who smiles while reading the Times Of London while Clint and The World's Second Greatest Hack Writer enjoy their beers.
No doubt, reading Mac's 'Christmas Help' ad in the Personals Section of the paper.
Jack.
PS: Otherguy Overby ROCKS!
Wasn't me, must have been some other guy.
Years ago, a friend of mine (now deceased) wrote what is probably the best profile of Thomas for the L.A. Times magazine. That would have been early 90s and a cover story. Worth looking up.
Great movie. Saw it last week on DVD. Lots of great action. Lots of tension. THe corruption of Mexico for all to see.
I loved the (deleted) attack and the ariel shots of the slums near the end
Holy cow! Now I have to read the book. Thanks!
Yes Denzel, we thought it was good. LOL
