Amen. Scripture answers all questions.
Christians need to remember the Holy Spirit does not steer us into confusion and anxiety, but confidently leads us to His glory, as was ordained by God from before the foundation of the world.
The book of history has already been written by God. He knows how this story of His creation ends. "BE OF GOOD CHEER!" It ends with the saints joining Him in Paradise. Christ has risen. Thank you, God.
Christians should spend more time in praise of God for His mercy and less time foolishly worrying that He might lose control of His creation.
He won't. He knows the End from the Beginning. We are His. Thank God.
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him... Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall reverse it?" -- Isaiah 43:1; 7; 13."But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine...
"Who shall reverse it?"
No one.
Thank you, God, for your unmerited gift of grace.
A big fat AAAAAAAAAMEN !!!! to that !!!!!!
Yes, amen Doctor!
Christians should spend more time in praise of God for His mercy and less time foolishly worrying that He might lose control of His creation
This, however, does not mean that Christians are to rest on their laurels and become complacent. Too many that I've personally dealt with tend to withdraw into the 4 walls of their church in an attempt to "wait things out", based on those truths that you spoke.
Not that this has much to do with the thread at hand, mind you - I just wanted to point that out.
I would never think that God would lose control of His creation. That is the one thing that comforts me when I look at all of the evil in this world. I know God is in control and that nothing happens that He hasn't ordained.
