OCTOBER DREAM [TERROR ATTACKS WORLDWIDE HAVE U HAD SUCH A DREAM OR VISION?]

Even as many had dreams indicating in July and August that September would be a month of storms, others have had dreams saying that October would be a month of terrorism. May we be found standing in the breach as the Lord would direct us.

I am standing outside, and approximately about 20 feet away from me, I see what looks like a big globe of the world.

As I begin to walk towards it, I am then lifted up far above this globe, and can now look down , and see the whole universe.

As I look far over towards the left, I see a darkening in the sky. In a blink of an eye, it strikes me that it has the resemblance of New York…the stock exchange buildings and business area. I then become aware, that as this situation is occurring, that in other parts of the world, there seem to be simultaneous attacks.

Although, I am not certain, of the exact places these attacks are also occurring, I do notice, that oil refineries, are being blown up, and I notice there seems to be those of Arabic descent as well as what appears to be Iraq, is now once again, under heavy attack, with air attacks, and ground forces, attacking just as they did in the beginning of the war…many lives are lost.

As this takes place, I look to my right, and see more destruction, and terror and death.

As I awoke, I was in tears, and kept hearing "Oct will be a significant month, Winds Of Change…Watch and Pray"

Wellllllllll, given the Scriptures on the topic of dreams and end times . . . given the sorting through together with like minded people of similar Scriptural perspective and attitudes that this thread was set up for--in part--to evaluate and discuss such dreams as might be candidates for consideration as dreams from The Lord . . .

WHO ARE YOU to say that such a posting of such a dream will NOT increase the needed prayers for our beloved President 100's of times over?

Obviously, you cannot remotely say such a thing with any authority above that of a gnat's fart.

There have probably been more than several hundred folks who've been given dreams, visions, impressions of such a thing along with the feeling that they are called to pray against it. Evidently God wants to communicate such a thing pretty strongly and persistently. I'm not about to tell God what HE can't do or how HE can't do it! I'm sure He's underwhelmed that you cheekily dare to.

Thankfully, God is not the least bit moved by your hostility. He will attend to our prayers regardless of your poisonous attitude and words.

You stew and spin about prophetic dreams, and then you foolishly offer this.

None of us interested in the BIBLICAL TOPIC OF DREAMS IN END TIMES have been stewing and spinning. Given the Scriptures and plenty of discerning experiences, it would appear that you are the exceedingly foolish one on two counts: 1) Either ignorance of or denial/disbelief of a long list of Scriptures (see below) sets you up to pontificate from glaring ignorance. 2) You clearly have no viable, kosher, Biblical experiences in the topic area yet you insist on pontificating as though you were wiser, more knowledgeable; smarter and more Christian than all the rest of us.

I assure you, Sir, Father God is not impressed and neither are we. You will have some limited months to years to adjust your understanding of God's priorities and ways of doing things in the realm of such matters. At some point, God will likely take you home; mostly ignore you by the wayside as those who listen to His Voice and attend to the varieties of ways HE CHOOSES to communicate in our era leave the likes of you in the dust busily doing THE MASTER'S business in the crunch, rush and devastations of the end times; or another possibility or two which I choose to avoid getting into.

Below are a list of Scriptures about dreams. I feel that I Cor 14:29 is applicable to dreams as well. However, it's also wise to have someone particularly gifted of The Lord in discerning such matters to offer input.

I do know that Jesus was fiercely annoyed with religious leaders and any others who presume to limit God's doing things His way according to His priorities by His Spirit. God is STILL fiercely hostile to such presumptive actions and teachings.

He is getting ready to shake all that can be shaken and He will start with The Church and, many of us feel, has already started.

Those not on HIS WAVELENGTH will likely AT BEST be left by the wayside struggling to have a clue where God is; is going; etc. Such ignorance in the end times can easily lead to premature death and certainly to The Lord's displeasure.

THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY well knows my passionate devotion and responsibility to Him, His Word and His priorities.

I'm quite comfortable with HIS ongoing assessments and leading in such matters. He will abundantly confirm my words in due course. HIS FAITHFULNESS in such matters has been incredibly, awesomely and humblingly dependable; whether rarely to my timing preferences, or not.

As the enemy is allowed to come in like a flood, The Lord God Almighty will raise up some very dramatic standards against him. You will either recognize and discern the miraculous manifestations of God Almighty, His Son--Lord of Lords and King of Kings; via His Spirit in these end times--or you won't.

The Lord God Almighty is determined, in these end times, to deal terminally with the wicked and the enemy. He is also determined to get ALL THE GLORY. Scriptures indicate HE WILL HAVE DRAMATIC BUT VERY SOBERING FUN DOING IT. He will even, according to Scripture, DO SOME NEW THINGS. It's an exciting time to be alive. It's an exciting time to watch God move in the affairs of man and of His Creation.

I have increasingly observed that in addition to those humble, poor souls around the world who have little in terms of substance, education and status--whom God has persistently and increasingly graced with dramatic manifestations of His healing power and dramatic moves of His Spirit--another group of people He has chosen to move through, with and in--in power and might--are those souls who've been broken--who've been changed into broken and contrite hearted souls--who've come to understand how little they are and how Great He is. And, more, how Greatly HE DELIGHTS TO MOVE THROUGH THE BROKEN, HUMBLE AND WILLING IN STARTLINGLY DRAMATIC WAYS TO SHOW FORTH HIS GLORY.

PRAISE GOD that HE HAS CHOSEN to act out the following Scripture INCREASINGLY over the last 2000 years of the church age. PRAISE GOD that HE HAS CHOSEN to have a most DRAMATIC WIND-UP of history as we have known it. PRAISE GOD that HE WILL GET ALL THE GLORY.

I await with eager anticipation 4-6 year olds telling satanic military generals THUS AND SO . . . according to the leading and unction of GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT wereupon the ground opens up and swallows the generals and their entire armies. And this SORT of thing will become VIRTUALLY routine. It's going to be an exciting time.

For now, it's exciting enough to pray through the election and about the safety of our beloved President. Thankfully, as a number on this thread have demonstrated, God is faithful to His Word in giving dreams and visions in our New Testament/church age era. May dreams and visions which are authentically born of His Spirit guide our prayers with increased motivation and persistence.

Given the topic of the thread, I've started to check in at a number of sites I've found . . . at least interesting . . . with which I've found some . . . congruence and at times more than a little witness in my spirit . . . Following is the first post from this tour of such sites. Prayerfully discern as ever:

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF ROSH HASHANAH 2004
September 15, 2004

Today as I write this it is Tishri 1, 5765 on the Jewish calendar; the first day of the New Year. The foundations of the next three years are now being laid behind the scenes by a small remnant of people, and only intercession can tip the balance and alter the course of events which are about to take place in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

There is an unprecedented urgency this fall to fast, pray and press through in intercession unlike we have never pressed through before, to intercede in the ‘Garden of Gethsemane’ as if our lives depended upon it, for indeed it does for thousands of us, and many cities and nations are being weighed in the balance.

I was taken on an unexpected journey on Elul 29, the last day of 5764 on the Jewish calendar, when I was taken in the Spirit and given an angelic tour of things to come if the nations of the world continue on their current path. In the midst of the next three years, I was shown a bridge over troubled waters, with severe warnings shaking the earth in 5765 (2004-2005), greater judgments beginning to unfold in 5766 (2005-2006), and as the angel guided me across the bridge into 5767 (2006-2007) I was shown fire and mushroom clouds rising over cities, roaring seas and great tribulation unlike the world has ever seen. Nations were in great anguish as unprecedented earthquakes buried entire cities underneath the sea.

Without angelic intervention, events will begin to occur so quickly during the days ahead that many Christians will be caught off-guard, drunk in the cares of the world, and will not have their lamps filled with anointing. Do not be caught off guard.

The Lord’s return is at hand, and great birth pangs are about to shake the earth. Everything which has been prophesied shall come to pass. From the state of Alaska, to Asia and the ends of the earth, volcanic eruptions and great earthquakes are just the beginning. The initial birth pangs will be a call to repentance, but if are not heeded greater judgments will follow.

The purpose of the above prophetic warning is to save lives, not destroy them; to call the Body of Christ to intercession, not evacuation. By expecting the worse, we often miss the best. If we try to fit prophetic warnings into our own eschatological backgrounds, end time scenarios and personal theories, we fall into the same pitfall the Pharisees fell in to two millennia ago, and may totally miss the heart of God.

This does not mean that we should not study eschatology and end time events. But we must allow room for God's sovereignty, or we miss the opportunity for his grace. Intercession can change worlds, and God is sovereign to not only change the future, but also to erase the past.

This is a season of repentance, change, and new beginnings. Much can be lost if we fall into slumber, but much can also be gained during the next three years if we respond correctly to the Holy Spirit. Time is running out to intervene and lessen the magnitudes of the initial birth pangs.

Instead of a cataclysmic earthquake in Alaska which shreds the land into pieces, the Veil of Darkness could be shredded into pieces, and rivers of Living Water spring up from the earth; but the choice is ours. Who shall heed the warnings while they are yet small?

At the time of this writing, a third hurricane is now crashing into the United States on Tishri 1, 5765 – these three storms represent three years of cleansing, which began today, September 15, 2004.

FOR CHRISTIAN LEADERS

Judgment must first begin in the house of God, and repentance first among those who are in leadership positions. Live a holy life, repent, humble yourselves, pray, for the time is much shorter than you think, and your people and [are?] perishing and need a deliverer, a shepherd, to lead them to a place of safety. Be a deliverer, a counselor, one who stands in the gap for your people, who will be a champion for your city and nation.

A great cleansing is coming, and although some judgments are inevitable over the next three years, magnitudes can be lessened, wars can be averted, cities and nations can be saved. As national elections approach this fall, it is appropriate that you call your people to a time of prayer and fasting, not in a strict religious or burdensome sense; but as a leader that you build an atmosphere of intercession, a desire to press through for a breakthrough, releasing a spirit of hope instead of a spirit of death.

Leave your people with a vision and goal for the future, a desire to change the course of history, and to move mountains and press through towards an impossible conclusion. God is releasing revivalists in this hour who will confront the Veil of Darkness over cities and nations head on and literally move worlds for the Kingdom of God.

Allow me to ignite your faith from the hilltops of Oregon. I shall announce a peculiar thing that will begin to take place with children and young men and women. Unusual miracles will begin to take place, but not in the cities. On the outskirts of the cities, on the outskirts of the city unusual miracles will begin to happen in small towns and even as Jesus stood outside the city and prophesied, "Caperneum you have been exalted into heaven, you shall be brought down to hell" so it shall not be in the cities, but in the outskirts of the cities that I shall suddenly bring about the demise of the controlling spirit of Jezebel and witchcraft and their families..."

QX: Not sure what I feel about the following. I sure hope it's true. There were several interesting pronouncements about the last big hurricane and it's halting, dilly dallying and eventual path.

I hope Kim's right about the USA. It really feels, to me, that IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE CHURCH MOSTLY but to some degree the morality of our nation in general. Will saints FAST AND PRAY AND LIVE RIGHT WITH EACH OTHER and WILL THEY BE SUFFICIENT SALT IN THE NATION to make a difference.

“And you ask me, What does that have to do with America? You don’t realize the enemy has risen up against this family (Bush family). The Bush family is a praying family and God wants those people to be praying because there is turbulence that is coming to this Nation, but they are going to be able to handle it and there will be a sign that will come to the States that they were born in and that they reign in. God said that there will be peace in the midst of the storm as I give My Spirit to these men. The Bush brothers will have the power of My Spirit to be able to speak against the storm the way Jesus spoke against the storm and it will come to an end!

Satan doesn’t want you to get to the other side. He doesn’t want this Nation to get to the other side of poverty, the other side of economic crisis, the other side of terrorism, the other side of fear. But God says, You will get to the other side, and you will get through your storm. And it’s September the 11th Saturday and the prediction is this: They will be captured, they will be brought before the world, (Al Qaeda) that this victory will be one of the greatest America has ever acquired and then suddenly 19 nations will join-in in a great battle against terrorism. Russia has just been raised up and said they are also going to take arms against terrorism and we will wipe out the power of terrorism in the world, as pirates were brought to nothing because of those who stood up against them. Rejoice America! Because your storm is coming to an end.”

A DIVINE ENCOUNTER

Have any of you been discouraged, disillusioned or disheartened lately? I think most of us have been. God's people are being prepared right now for His next great move. I believe that a large percentage of us have been facing at least one of these things. It is time that we have a divine encounter with God.

We can sometimes think that we prepare ourselves for these, but it is really God who initiates these encounters. I've gone through many personal struggles and wrestled with my own weakness and failures and faced my own sins, but I am taking comfort from Moses, who even after he went through all that he did, that God is still dealing to restore me.

I take comfort in the fact as I am almost at Moses' age of 80, when being on the back side of the desert, he found that God could still use him and restore him, after feeling that he had totally failed.

You know the Bible says be sure that your sin will find you out. Moses thought he had buried the Egyptian that he murdered in the sand when he was trying to defend God's people, but then one of his big toes stuck up out of the sand and Moses was found out, and so he ran because of his guilt.

And so he ran to the desert and tended sheep with Jethro his father-in-law, but really it was God setting him up for a move and a divine encounter. I have another name for God. You know we call him Jehovah Jireh and Jehovah Rapha and Jehovah Shalom, and all these things, but I have a revelation of his new name, it's "Jehovah Sneaky!" He will sneak up on you!

There on the back side of the desert, feeling as far away as he could get, Moses saw an unusual thing. Many bushes burned in the desert, but this one he saw was different. We have to keep our focus on the right things if we are going to hear from God. Moses had to keep his focus on this to hear from God.

Exodus 3 is a significant chapter for me. I have read it many times over the years, but lately the Lord has been showing me a lot more out of it.

Exo 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
Exo 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Exo 3:9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Exo 3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
Exo 3:11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

Here you can see that God sees all the oppression and sorrow that we have gone through. The Israelites groaned under the Egyptian bondage and cried. But God saw, because there is nothing going on that God does not see.

And He hears. He hears every word and He sees every tear. And you will see here in verse 7 that God also knows. People don't always know you or how you feel, but God does. He knows everything that you are going through and how you feel about it.

And He is the All-Sufficient One for us. No matter how impractical or impossible it seems, just keep on believing Him.

God is sending today. Like Moses in verse 10, He is using the young and the old and empowering them, just as He sent Moses this great prophet to Pharaoh. He is about to empower us to do His great work through His divine enablement. Give us courage, Lord, to receive this divine enablement.

We have a destiny and future that will fill the stadiums. The power of God will come and we will see people falling on their faces saying, "Jesus is Lord! Jesus is Lord!"

He is bringing us out to bring us in. There will be dramatic healings, and crutches and canes and wheelchairs will be discarded. And there will even be the raising of the dead! It will be in such fashion that even the media, like ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN will report it. Maybe even FOX will report it. It will be the greatest show on earth!

They will say, "Ladies and gentlemen, there is no news to report tonight, seemingly only good news! There are no sporting events to report because all of the stadiums and ball parks are filled. There are miracles taking place all over the place, even the raising of the dead! We see crutches and wheelchairs cast away and we aren't sure who these people are ministering, but they have been there for days!"

People, this isn't hype. I know hype and this isn't hype. How many of you remember the Jesus People Movement of the 70's when all those people and young people came in? It was really something. There were all these hippies coming into the church and it was really distressing to those of us who were raised up in the holiness movement. God has great grace.

I remember at the height of it, I was ministering with Chuck Smith in San Bernandino, where thousands, maybe a million people got baptized in the Pacific Ocean. We in the "holiness" camp just had fits with this new expression of God.

These people were sinners, with their long hair - and long hair was a sin in those days - but some of the folks had tongues that were longer than their hair! Finally I realized that I would rather be a hippie than a hypocrite!

One night at this campmeeting when so many of us were upset in this controversy, God spoke to me and said that He was going to do a creative miracle the next night to prove this meeting was of Him. I prophesied it and then heard Him say not to say another word about it.

I felt He told me that it would happen on the left side of where I was preaching, in that section. These kids were a mess. They were doing drugs in the parking lot, smoking their dope and popping their beer cans and we just hated it. It upset me so bad that I just wanted to dangle them over hell on the end of a rotten stick, you know?

But the next night the crowd gathered and I didn't say a word, but as it commenced, I saw some people bring in a young man whose brain had totally fried on drugs, like from acid and the like. He had to have two people bring him in, one on the right and one on the left. He couldn't walk or dress or bathe himself and he even had to wear a diaper because he was so disconnected in his brain from those drugs.

He sat in that left section and I knew that is where I felt God told me the miracle would take place, and I wondered if he was the guy. He was totally helpless, but he had been from an affluent family. Affluent, if you don't know, means filthy rich. Apparently he had a music type background, of a show biz type.

As I was preaching and ministering, I looked out into the crowd and I saw this glow around him, like a shining light on him, and suddenly before I knew what I was doing, I prophesied, "Brian, the Lord gives you a new brain right now in Jesus' Name!"

He got up and the others got up to help him but they all fell out in the Spirit. There was a Baldwin kind of grand piano in there and he went over to it, fully connected together, and in concert style, he pulled back his old dirty tee shirt, and like a concert pianist began to play a Bach lullaby perfectly.

I wasn't always so hot on that type of music in those days but it was just beautiful that night. Everyone just cried and wailed.

Even the hippies got convicted. They were almost delirious. They came up and said "We shouldn't be doing these drugs in the parking lot, should we?" And I said, "I didn't say that," because God told me not to say a word.

They said, "We need to be saved, don't we?" And I said, "I didn't say that either." And they said "We aren't saved, we need to be saved!!!" And so a whole slew of them came forward and repented, convicted by the Spirit of God without man saying a word.

We need to see the bush burn again in the desert. It's time to do business with the King. And God says, "I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy..."

My name is J.S. and the Lord has called me to the Office of a Prophet.

I have had this calling and have been in processing since the age of 14. I am now 25 and the Lord is really bringing this calling out in my life.

I am writing because I am now going through a period of time in which I am experiencing numerous dreams and visions. Some of them have meaning and others do not.

I have them constantly. At any moment in which I doze off or am asleep, I will have a dream or a vision. What does this indicate? I am basically trying to get an understanding of why I am dreaming and having visions so much.

Hi J.S.,

Having dreams is a spiritual gift.

Some prophets are seer prophets which means they have a visual gift, whereas some prophets may have a more auditory type gift, meaning they "hear" in their heads. Many have a combination of that.

As a gift, dreams is like having the ability to draw or paint. You can use these skills for good or evil. Just because you ~could~ draw a wrong picture, doesn't mean you ~choose~ to, even if the ability to do so in all kinds of detail comes to your mind.

As in artistry, the more details you have in the gift, the more talented you are considered to be and many want to capitalize on that, including maybe yourself! I would say that God has given you a gift, with details, but also with opportunities to use it greatly for good or for evil.

Well, surely you might tell me, "I don't want to use this for evil!!!" Well then, how would you know? You would know because you would know what is right and wrong by the Word (or Scriptures) of God, the Holy Bible.

When people have spiritual gifts, including the prophetic gifts, they really need to work at being a good Christian first. Many do not want to hear this, because they want to exalt their gift more than honor Jesus. See, Jesus died on a horrible cross to pay the price for our sin, but if we don't choose to honor that, we can just go with the gift and exalt ourselves instead.

Many do not want to pay the price of a Godly and holy lifestyle. It's hard! It's challenging! But the fruits and rewards are worth it in many ways, and most of all because on the Judgment Day of all judgments, you will be glad to hear, "Well done My good and faithful servant, you pleased Me because you cared, enter into My eternal joys..." All carnal works will be burned with fire, as wood, hay and stubble is. And if people [souls] did not honor God, they will go the same way.

If you make a point to CHOOSE the Godly lifestyle, your gift will come out in you as a beautiful thing. People will SEE Jesus in you and you will rejoice with them when they do - because you will be sharing Him. This sharing is one of the greatest joys a believer can have. It's a gift and an honor to share Jesus in His Holiness.

Also, when you choose to live holy, you stand a much better chance at making right decisions in areas where you do not know the right answer and have not been trained. If you make an error on the side of Godliness, that Godliness will be seen and God will be honored and exalted.

The Scriptures say in the book of James 1:5 that we can ask God for wisdom and He will give it to us without upbraiding or fussing at us. That means when you are really trying to get it right, God will cover for you if you mess it up. That's a good deal! And it works.

As with all Spiritual gifts, you will come to see a pattern. Some things will stand out as things that work, other things will have problems. You will learn by that and then see how that your spiritual gifts are tools for doing the will of God, and not the ultimate end or reward for having a Christian life.

Power-seekers see the gifts as a reward for right living. The Godly see the Spiritual gifts as abilities for Christian living.

If the gifts are exalted, you will eventually see error. If Jesus is exalted, you will see His power revealed. And His power is the power that overcomes evil. Hey! That's what I want, because God is on the side of everyone overcoming the forces of sin and evil in this world. That is redemption and restoration and salvation.

I know of many who have shared with me having constant dreams, just as you have described, so don't feel alone. But you need to remember that the counterfiet of the prophetic is divination and familiar spirits. I don't say that to scare you, but to let you know that the best use of your spiritual gifts is a holy lifestyle. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and God loves wisdom and says in Proverbs that it is the principle (or first) thing.

Wisdom is good! Common sense is the companion of wisdom. With a solid foundation, the Spiritual gifts used in God will win the spiritual war that Satan wages against the people of God. God has given you the gifts (tools) as He sees fit and you are in training with them. He will allow you a space of time to get to know your tool and often will let you see the dangers of misapplied use. Pray against all wrong fruit or manifestations.

Also with dreams and in the prophetic, many things are symbolic. There are many books and "authorities" as to what means what. There are some of these "authorities" that I am not too sure about! One rule in Biblical studies is to let the Word interpret itself. In other words, if God uses symbolism for something, try to stick with that same symbolism and not go too far off on a tangent. One fruit of the Spirit is a sound (and reasonable) mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Just as in art and in life, you see the creativity of God so I am not trying to be super dogmatic or overly structured. When in the process of building, the Master Builder can add and subtract as He chooses until He declares the work done. Jesus said you will know a tree (and a tree is symbolic of people, and sometimes Israel in the Scriptures) by its fruit.

How do we know the fruit of God? He defines it in Galatians 5:22-23. "But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, and against these there is [or God has no] Law [against them]." It is also righteous, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

A 20 year Warning?

An exquisite surprise awaited me as I sat down with neighbors for afternoon tea one weekend not long ago.

They are a Christian family. The wife grew up in rural Ukraine under communism. She experienced the book of Acts in fellowshipping house to house, not knowing when the communist authorities would interrupt their gathering.

Arrests of Christians, being sent to Siberia, some never to return, some shot were all indelibly written in her memory as part of her Christian upbringing.

The miracles, being led by and walking in the Spirit, the attendant hardships and blessings of provision as a living reality were spoken of.

Comments were made on how little the North American "church" resembles the biblical or current experience of true Christianity.

A story was related by the couple of revival that took place in rural Russia and the Ukraine in the early part of the 1900's. They had a wonderful experience as believers reliving the book of Acts.

The Holy Spirit warned His people about 20 years ahead of time that the communists would crack down on believers:

confiscating property, jailing and killing believers, and starving people in the land to the point where mothers would eat their children.

This warning, given in advance, gave time for people to prepare.

About a year before the crackdown began, the Holy Spirit provided a way of escape.

Believers were led to leave their villages and travel to points unknown.

These are people that did not travel and lived most of their lives in a small area.

Few left, many stayed behind including this ladies forefathers.

The few that left eventually found their way to freedom experiencing hardship along the way.

The majority that stayed suffered tremendous hardships: death, incarceration, and starvation artificially forced upon them.

After meeting with this couple, I read an article that eerily shadowed the details related in the above story. Note, they had a warning given about 20 years before the actual communist crackdown began.

For North America, a warning was given in a book I took down off my bookshelf called "Set the Trumpet to Thy Mouth", written in 1985, about 19 years ago.

In its pages, it warns that America will be destroyed quickly and suddenly.

Warning signs along the way:

oil wells burning night and day in the middle east (fulfilled in Iraq/Kuwait Persian Gulf War 1992),

rioting in the streets ( LA riots),

and financial institutions crumbling (the Savings & Loan crisis is just one example).

The book speaks of skyscrapers melting - gone in one hour.

What remains to be fulfilled: possible further economic hardship and then great destruction.

There are those who have scoffed at these warnings, preachers on TV and preachers in the pulpit.

When great destruction did not happen quickly, scoffers made fun of those who made preparations for a holocaust.

God has given His warning to us well in advance so that we can prepare our hearts and those of our family.

The Russian Christians had about 20 years.

Is this an emerging pattern? Is that the amount of time we have?

If so, time is almost up.
