I would not doubt it.
I did not watch or listen to the debates becaues:
1. I already know everything I need to know about President Bush.
2. I already knew everything I need to know about John Kerry.
3. I knew that John Kerry was going to lie each time he opened his mouth.
4. I do not like to even look at John Kerry , let alone have to listen to him lie and have that voice in my ear. In my opinion, if they made every criminal have to listen to 1 minute of John Kerry talking, crime would drop 99%. If they were told that they would have to listen to him one minute a week, the suicide rate would probably rise 99%.
5. I knew that the moderator would snooker President Bush when he had the chance.
I agree totally. Saw that picture and got sick to my stomach.
My husband erased it. sorry.
yeah...it's called PBS.
What exactly did Bush lose? The only thing that matters is what the likley voters accross America saw. I saw a caring and honest President Bush and a slick lawyer type politician named Kerry.
I wondered if Kerry had the question about the most imminent threat to the country because he answered too quickly. I asked my husband about it and he agreed. Kerry answered without even a second hesitation.
Reference your post # 18.
I think we both know who it is.
He was going to d.u. and ended up at FR.
It's crying time again.......for nobody...it fits....
I hope the RNC is smart enough to make a big issue out of the "Global Test" statement.
Bottom line, or tan line?
At any rate, so what if Kerry was more prepared or you think he won.
For me it's just more evidence of the liberal lovin' media.
Exactly! That is what I said. Stuttering makes one look more human. And anything resembling Bill Clinton is not a compliment.
Global test for U.S. Pre-emptive strike
1. Will the strike incovenience any European nations or reveal their duplicity?
2. Will the strike leave the U.S. with more power, authority or credibility?
3. Will the strike reinforce the concept of U.S. sovreignty or self-determination?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, the strike has failed the global test.
Note: This test will be administered in Vietnam, and the question must be answered in French.
agreed w/ you on the other five, btw
I didn't see it but it doesn't make sense for Lehrer to have winked. Let's face it, that's something maybe you'd see in a really bad movie but never in real life, at least not on this level with someone as intelligent and media savvy as Lehrer is. I mean, if you're going to do something so risky as to what your post suggests (collaborating with the Kerry camp in advance) then you would make darn sure not to do anything to give it away, especially something as obvious and reckless as winking on national tv.
Debate is running again on C-Span. I'll be watching the end for all the wonderful little bits that people have referenced. It'll be over in about eight minutes.
