I Came, I was Flamed, I Conquered(HA!)

On January 15, 2004, Free Republic was honored to have me registered. No doubt the IQ needed boosting a little on this forum. But all good things must come to end. It is with sadness that I have realized that you people are crazy! You've driven me to the Kerry camp! You're a bunch of fascists on this forum. You're a bunch of narrow-minded, sexist, homophobic, women-oppressing, gun-toting, war-mongering, Nazi thugs!

I am so outta here it'll make your head spin. Of course, the IQ will undoubtedly suffer from dramatically, and I might add that Kerry is gonna win in 2004! Viva la revolucion! Viva John Kerry and John Edwards!

:) HA! Just kidding! Even I'm not that crazy! Actually, I posted this for those that have me on their ping lists. I am moving to Nevada, effective tomorrow and I won't be online. Right now, the wife is threatening me at gun point to get off the computer. It is of course not an assault rifle, but is completely legal.

I would appreciate those of you I haven't contacted to pull me off your ping lists for the next week or so as I don't want to be deluged with pings for the next week or so. As soon as I get back up, and this will be as quick as I can make it, I will let you know that you can put me back on.

I know I'm on 68-69 TonkinGulfYachtClub's ping list, farmfriend, FormerMilitaryChick, and probably other's that I'm leaving off. This is the main reason for the post. I will be on till around 1-2 am EST. I know. I know. The forum will suffer, but I just have to do it.

:) HA!

I think I'll have my wife give me a sedative so that the FR withdrawals won't be too bad. I am going to link to my latest article about FR for those that haven't read it. It is much better with pictures posted in the article. Thanks for all that you do Free Republic. You are the best forum in the world.

It's the funniest thing I've seen in quite some time.

I believe you'll find the left much less indulgent when it comes to dissent. You may not agree with what the people here post, but at least they are willing to argue their points.

"Since finding FR, the longest I went without it was 5 days when I was on a trip to Vegas. Pure torture. Good luck."

I'm back on now, but it was two weeks of torture with only 30 minutes at a library. Just enough time to check the e-mail and read a couple of articles on FR. For a while, I didn't even have satellite and caught myself watching the McNeil/Lehrer news hour on PBS. I felt as if I had suddenly been transported back to the seventies. :)

"We is gonna go Arthur McGowan on you, baby!!"

Well, some people like Tonk didn't take me off the list and I got about five or six pages of pings to go through. So, in a sense, you're prediction was correct. And there were various other people that just couldn't resist filling page after page with pings. I won't make that mistake next time. :)

P.S. I'm back, thank God.

"Take a deep breath and think about new story plots..."

I've got one really good one I'm fixing to start working on. And my next book is due out on in March 2005. I'll keep rooting for all of you in Washington, especially after the break-ins.

"That ain't fair. I was on vacation for two weeks in July, and I still haven't caught up....."

Don't worry. There were a few people that didn't remove me and now I have pages and pages to catch up on, most of which was breaking news at the time and has now become ancient history. So you're not alone.

"Do you listen to Limbaugh online and what kind of stuff did you get from the store?"

I have listened to him online, but most of the time it's on the radio. When I'm at work, doing pest control, I usually have a walkman I listen to him on. Let's see...Items from the store: 1) Got the Rosewood pen, which has more meaning to me being a writer. 2)Got the great low profile cap. That way the wife can wear it from time to time.

P.S. Have you checked out the link on my tagline? If not, here it is again: http://www.whiskeycreekpress.com/books/electivedecisions.shtml

I'll make sure you get pinged next time. You sure you want on my ping list? I only ping original material. It's not high volume at all.

"Been rather absent ourselves. We are preparing for retirement. Good luck on the move. Be safe, K?"

Thanks for the sentiments. And you can't retire. Not in this rotten, Bush economy. Not while Bush is screwing all the seniors. You just can't retire. You won't get any Social Security cause Bush spent it all in Iraq. :) HA!

Hey! I'm no Nazi!"

That was humorous. Too bad I didn't catch it before I signed off that night. How about this: You're a wonderful American.

Had me going. I was about to point out that in French, revolution is spelled the same as it is in English. The Spanish spell it r.e.v.o.l.u.c.i.o.n, however.

caught myself watching the McNeil/Lehrer news

You will need a few hours on FR to detoxify after that. Welcome back.
