Every now and then we need a belly rub break from the terrorists, politics, human horrors and demonRats of this world. When some of the threads get a bit intense and we find we're starting to take ourselves a tad too seriously, you'll see many of us drifting into comments about our funny little furry companions. It doesn't take much, just a reference to the Hildebeast or one of sKerry's daughters can set off the canine crazies amongst us.
Several of us have been discussing the idea of starting a thread of our own where we can muzzle the issues for a few minutes, let our hackles down, and run and jump to wherever our noses lead us. Hopefully, we'll all end up rolling in the stink pile together, laughing like a hyena gone mad.
Now, here's the bite...None of us initially involved with this idea have an ounce of HTML or artsy fartsy posting talent. We need some of you dog loving FR artistes to come to our aid. You scratch behind our ears and we'll rub your butts for you! Please let us know how you're able to help us get such a wonderful idea out of the dog run and we'll start this pack running free.
Come on y'all, let's find a place where we can bay at the moon until we wake the whole darned neighborhood. I especially wanna yowl all the trolls right off the block!

I feel left out. This is Barney. He was named that before the President named his dog Barney. You can tell my Barney is older. My parents raised Scotties, but I live on a Golf Course and cannot have a fence. So, we are stuck with our Barney.

Flyer,
Due to your last breach of our MDA (Mutual Destruction Agreement) I still owe you a picture.
I don't want to waste it now ..............

Thanks, you work on him a bit, but be careful he doesn't corner you in that tree!

Pajama Puppies Ping:
Don't Panic, this is a test, just a test. All your dog are belong to us.
This is my first attempt at a ping list so I put everyone's name on it to see if there's a limit to the number it will take. Rather than FReepmailing me to be added, please mail me to be removed and I won't have to do it all over. Lazy as a hound dog, aren't I? Don't be shy, it won't hurt this dog mama's feelings.
I didn't get a chance to reply to everyone, but all your furry friends can come live on the lake with us. I covet every one of them; they're all wonderful, beautiful and perfect. Of course, I am biased toward my own 3 perfect puppy princesses.

Eaker! Be nice or, on this thread, you're likely to be bitten!
LakeLady, Eaker has a knack for drawing the wrath of old, blind Basset Hounds.
He has scars to prove it.
Just ask TheMom - Mrs. Eaker.
She's always very supportive of him during the aftermath of a dog attack: she documents it with photos.

That's it! That's the one!
LakeLady, you've gotta see the photo at #68.
His hobby is squirrels.

This is Eaker's pithy description of what happened the last time he met up with a crotchety bassett.

Pax has already heard it, but
here's the story of the Dread Boston Salty's Good Friday Squirrel Exploit and Rodent Jamboree 2004.

Eaker better behave. My newest puppy is a 6 month old Basset who's as feisty as her dog mama. I can train her to eat Eaker if I must. I'll just have Mrs. Eaker season and tenderize her old man and then set JB on him.
YEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!

One of my buddies thinks the Dread Boston Salty has a lecherous look. She says he always looks like he's thinking about what you'd look like without your clothes on.

This is Eaker's pithy description of what happened the last time he met up with a crotchety bassett. Poor Eaker suffered from Post-Trauma Grammar Amnesia.
