Sitting Behind Yankees Dugout at Redsox game on Sunday. Need sign ideas.

Posted on 09/24/2004 10:42:15 AM PDT by New Perspective

I have been given the opportunity of a life time. My friend has tickets to sit right behind the Yankees dugout at Fenway on Sunday Sept 26, 2004. I would be every interested in ideas on signs that you think might make a lasting impression on the Yankees, since I am a Redsox fan.

Post away and look for the signs on ESPN.

be sure and buy one of those t-shirts that says "YANKEES SUCK" in 12" letters.

Not a good idea. Fenway Park doesn't allow fans to wear that message anymore, and they'll either kick you out of the game, or make you turn your shirt inside out.

that's too bad. I was at Fenway when the Sox played the Royals several years ago -- just after the Yankees left town -- and they were STILL selling them on landsdowne. I bought two.

They still sell them outside Fenway; you just can't wear them in the park anymore.

Oh don't you worry, I will have a few signs. I am sitting in the first row behind the dugout and just a few seats down on the homeplate side.

I couldn't watch last night's game because we decided to go to the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy. I was at my desk waiting for N.until about 7:45 and was watching the SI online scores. When I left, the score was 2-0 Yankees.
Later, I heard Boston had scored, so I just concluded that they would win...home ground advantage...Pedro...etc.
Very delighted to hear the opposite.
Still worried about the Sox, though.... it ain't over 'til it's over.

DAMN STRAIGHT! My greatest childhood memory was being at Shea when they clinched the NL East. My dad wouldn't let me run out on the field though.
