I saw this on the Travel Channel last night, and I got a kick out of it so I thought I'd look it up on the net. So check out the link. Enjoy.

I've eaten lots of exotic foods in my time but not mountain oysters, ugh!

I think we killed their server. Either that, or those wires behind my computer have a kink in them again.

The link doesn't work, but if it has anything to do with the Rock Creek Lodge, I know the owner, Rod Lincoln.
My Mom lives in Missoula, and Rod is a family friend. Good times by (b)all at this event!

Aw man, I'm going to Missoula on Friday, and it's already over. I'll go on record as having partaken of this delicacy a few times. Every year at cutting time when I was a ranch kid in fact. They aren't bad.

Okay, I tried. I swear I did. I tried to see the humor in this, but I just don't.
(And I'm a girl.)
I don't think that I could ever bring myself to eat something's testicles. Hell, I couldn't even bring myself to neuter my cat. (I think he knocked up the neighbor's cat, by the way - he's a big stud!)
I won't pass judgement. But, just EWWWWW!!!! (Strictly on a personal level, I mean.)

I'd never eat rocky mountain oysters but I know quite a few people who think they are delicacies. We even have a restaurant not too far from the Texas/Oklahoma border whose claim to fame are their oysters.
From what I understand they have to be marinated for awhile and then they're fried. That was enough information for me so I asked nothing more.
