OTTAWA -- A convicted killer with a record of drug addiction and fleeing parole has earned a 72-hour conjugal visit with his gay lover at Ontario's Joyceville penitentiary. Kevin Joseph Humphrey, a former fugitive who became subject of a Canada-wide warrant in 2002, spent the past weekend at the so-called "love shack," according to a prison source.
When he repeatedly went on the lam, police considered Humphrey dangerous because of his drug addiction and violent criminal record.
The former Toronto man was convicted of second-degree murder in the 1983 robbery slaying of Charles Palmer in Minden, Ont.
Correctional Service of Canada regional spokesman Diane Russon said CSC policy allows private family visits (PFVs) for common-law partners when the union was established six months before incarceration.
Wardens also have discretion to grant PFVs when a relationship blossoms during the offender's incarceration that is deemed "suitable, stable and beneficial to both parties," she said.

Coals to Newcastle BUMP.
Why does anybody who is gay in prison need a conjugal visit? Wouldn't it pretty much be a 24 hour party in there?
There's nothing like homemade fudge.
This is a sick society. Sodom and Gamorrah comes to mind.
his cellmate has got to be pretty jealous....may even cut him off
