Thanks for the ping. I read through that and it is, of course, a democRAT conception. I think a volunteer Army is better.

What concerns me is that the recruiter was trying to scare JT into enlisting. JT has always been interested in joining the army (so is the youngest child, BTW). He is looking at his options, but I really believe he's going to join. He's just trying to gather info to make an intelligent decision.

I'm not JT, but being lied to like that would send me to the nearest Air Force office.
