Correct, there was no reason to bring it up as the issue wasn't ripe.

I prefer to think of them as Mooning Roofs.

A new Pledge
Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer
are not allowed in most public schools anymore
because the word "God" is mentioned....
a kid in Arizona wrote the attached NEW School prayer.
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen
Jesus said, " If you are ashamed of me,
I will be ashamed of you before my Father."
Religious mongerer you are.
Now about that over sized pick up.......
With the sun roof, I can steer with my legs and poke my Bible and shotgun out the top, one in each hand.
Excellent new pledge, just excellent.
Thanks.
would have completed the thought.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Sorry, couldn't thump and shoot and FReep at the same time.
*Sigh*
Did you read the article in Slate today by the liberal novelist.
She could do these lines straight and think she should be thought of as a serious commentator.
I don't multitask too well either.
Particpating in this forum is multi-tasking to the max......
This one? "Depressed liberals analyze what ails them."? I will read it. I kept hearing the sounds of teeny-tiny violins all day today (again).
I have Fox on in the background ... I'm waiting for Fallujah to go buh-bye. I think all the women and children got out already and the roads are blocked.
Well I have a moonroof.
Hey....gotta head out. Have fun yall.
We're still the same, loddie. It's those blue state elites with all the media influence that have changed.
The last couple of days, watching C-Span is making me sick. Yet I keep going back.
The loser journalists from NY Times, LA Times, etc. are having panel discussions on why their hero libs lost. The public asks the journalists why the press is so biased. By way of explanation, the journalists say "we can't say that Bush lied because that would be a judgement call, but we can say he got the facts wrong, manipulated the truth, etc."
Asked why they don't do more in-depth stories, they bring up that &$#$*&(*&) Abu thing. Asked why the White House is so secretive, they say "Bush has tight-lipped and loyal staff" and "we hope the ones leaving spill".
I don't think they learned anything from this, and how biased they are just answering the public's questions. Not to mention arrogant about how stttoooopid the rest of us are.
And to do so would have killed the conservative movement before it even got started.
Your mental health, as well as your IQ, will surge ahead once you STOP listening to, or watching, the msm...those folks are part of the problem - not the solution.
Wean yourself, BQ, please.
I admire a man or men who can defend the unborn!
Yes it takes two to tango somewhere in there the fault lies between those who know better, not the innocent!
Yes, sir :(
