Heading up to Portsmouth to my daughters house for trick or treat. The weather is miserable tho. We will play cards, drink, eat and make merry just the same. Devin's daddy will be taking him out in the rain... heh heh heh.

I should have some kiddy costume pics tomorrow.. ;)

Turn out is the key. Today's polls are wonderful but I don't trust anyone on the other side not to spring some trumped up nonsense at the midnight hour. We just can't allow anyone we know to be so overly confident that they get lazy and don't vote.

Vote ! Vote early if you can, give someone a ride to the polls if you can but Geaux Vote

Any bets on how many of the "walking dead" will hang around after Halloween for election day? I guess we know where the RATs will be focusing their campaign efforts this weekend.....the graveyards.

There is huge story brewing in PA with Rendel pushing for the prisoners right to vote and denying the Military

Check out the video from CBS News 3 ...
http://www.kyw.com/

go down to where it says
"Valerie Levesque reports a local lawmaker threatens a political lawsuit."

And click to watch the video

The News station along with Congressman Curt Weldon caught college kids bringing out an absentee ballot from the Prison

Curt is is preparing papers to be filed to have a Federal Investigation into this

There have been reports of others bring boxes of Absentees out of the Prisons

Curt Weldon is HOT over this and is NOT backing off ..

Their shenanigans to deliberately disenfrancise the military all over the country (just like they did in 2000), is the single most despicable of their fraud techniques, and the hypocrisy of them doing that and then turning around and having the nerve to say that Republicans disenfrancise ANYBODY just makes me sick. They should just STFU! I am sick to death of the rest of the country caving in to THEIR intimidation tactics!

On a lighter note, I had to go and buy another finch feeder. These birds around here are in a feeding frenzy. They're emptying the feeders faster than I can fill them....with no help from the squirrels. Several folks made comments to me in the stores when I was buying feed that they were having the same thing happening. It's like an invasion. You don't suppose......nah.

Yep .. the guy on the radio keeps saying .. Rendel wants perverts to vote but not the troops

He's been taking a lot of hot over this ... but he's not backing down

Rick Santorum and a local congressman Steven Barnard have been all over Rendel also

PA residents shut down the Gov. bank bank from all the complaints ... People are really ticked about this

Now, this is good news....

The bets are in--Bush to win

George W. Bush is heading for a surprise landslide victory in next week's presidential elections, going by online betting patterns.

Although U.S. opinion polls are still finding it hard to separate President Bush from his Democratic challenger, Sen. John Kerry, customers of Betfair, an online betting exchange, have overwhelmingly backed the Republican candidate.

Betfair's latest figures show 2.3 million pounds ($4.2 million) have been wagered on Bush, while Kerry has attracted only 680,000 pounds ($1.25 million) in bets. Bush is now at 1-5 odds to stay in office, whereas gamblers can still get odds of 2-1 on Kerry to win.

Betfair said its betting patterns are a more accurate indication of election results than the opinion polls. The patterns correctly predicted that Australia's Prime Minister John Howard would comfortably secure a surprise victory in last month's general election.

Mark Davies, director of communications at Betfair, said opinion polls only survey a small percentage of the population, who have no real incentive to provide accurate information.

"In contrast, Betfair's prices are based on people who are prepared to put their money where their mouth is," Davies said in a statement. "Our figures have proved to be an amazingly accurate indicator at both the Australian general election last month and the California governor's election last year. As a result, we're sure George Bush will be pleased to hear that Betfair's sharp-minded punters are backing him to the hilt."

Andy McCue of Silicon.com reported from London.
