The neat thing is that there were a lot of college kids and younger there, and one college group came in that is organizing the protest against M. Moore-on at the U of A. I heard a lot of stolen sign stories, but so far, ours has stayed up for two days. "They" wouldn't dare to penetrate our Pres. Bush Compound on XXX St. or we'd shoot 'em.
The web has gotten impossibly slow out here...Changed ISP's and that didn't help...About ready to hang it up for the night...
.....Westy.....
Good night - guess I'll go watch The Apprentice to get some tips on coping with difficult (liberal) team mates.
.....Westy.....
I want to wish you and Mike the very best of anniversaries tomorrow..You both deserve the best...Something better than T-shirts and sweatpants...lol..
Have a good one, Westy...
Westy, you are just the sweetest man for remembering birthdays and anniversaries. Okay, how do you do it, really? I picture it two ways...you licking the lead of a pencil and noting the dates down on a yellow pad...or you have a great software program. LOL
I just love you!
Thank you! I watched O'Reilly instead. Does anyone else dislike Naomi Wolf as much as I do? She couldn't name one example of the "environment being wrecked" other than saying "uhhh, the icebergs are melting". Bill called her on it and said "that is NOT Bush's fault, that is the earth's progression". She also started in about the President's "lies" and Bill called her on that too. What kind of feminist would say we women are being bamboozled into voting for Bush???? Does she not trust we can make up our own minds? Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
.....Westy....
Ah ha, so that is your secret.
Mo, Westy and I wish you more than a t-shirt and sweat pants night. LOL
.....Westy....
Thank you, Lib, for thinking of me and my annual bout with homesickness ;)
Hello Dixie. Do you really miss the winters or just the fall colors and the pumpkins?
gasp...
You might want to be careful about posting things like "XXX St." or you might have Swervie showing up at your door for a little first hand evaluation.
*Smooch* Swervie.
This is a ridiculous time to have to be up. Okay, so I guess it IS better than when I had to be getting up at 2 or 3 a lot of the time, but still, it's too early.
Mornin' Dix. Wish I didn't have to go anywhere today. I'd much rather hang out and drink coffee.
Hi Sweets,
You're up with the gallinas this morning.
Wierd day for my project...labor unrest. One of the largest contractors on site had a work stopage during the night, and it looks like today's shift as well. The lads said they weren't getting paid, but when they presented a list of demands the first thing at the top of the list was a demand for a 40% pay raise! Heck, if it works, I might join them.
Just hope they don't decide to take gringos for hostages.
Cheers all
Mornin' horsie. Yep; got go on an excursion to Russellville this morning for quarterly training...mandatory, after spending the past 3 days in a conference (training for another part of the job). I'm getting so darned much training, I never have any time to do actually do my job. Your tax dollars at work. How's the weather down yonder?
Morning Dixie.. just a shot for homesickness.. ;)
