I can't believe lurch's boy-toy is saying everyone will rise up out of their wheelchairs. Also, last night I heard the trial lawyer saying how there are too many meth labs in Iowa (or maybe Ohio) and of course they are Bush's fault!!! AGHHHHHHH!!! And how Lurch and his lover will destroy the meth labs in that state! What a couple of morons.

SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK

COUNTY OF NASSAU

FOX NEWS NETWORK, L.L.C. and WILLIAM O’REILLY,

Index No. __________

COMPLAINT

ANDREA MACKRIS, BENEDICT P. MORELLI and BENEDICT P. MORELLI & ASSOCIATES P.C.,

Defendants.
x

Plaintiffs FOX NEWS NETWORK, L.L.C. (“Fox”) and WILLIAM O’REILLY, by their attorneys, Epstein Becker & Green, P.C., as and for their Complaint against ANDREA MACKRIS, BENEDICT P. MORELLI and BENEDICT P. MORELLI & ASSOCIATES P.C. (“the Morelli Firm”), allege as follows:

NATURE OF THE ACTION

This action responds to Defendants’ extortion scheme. Defendants seek to extort Sixty Million Dollars ($60 million) from Plaintiffs in return for not going public with a scandalous and scurrilous claim based on alleged inappropriate comments made to Mackris by O’Reilly. Defendants’ outrageous demand cannot be justified by any alleged harm that Mackris claims to have suffered. Rather, Defendants’ demand is based on their threat to sully the reputations of a successful cable news network and a nationally renowned television and radio host, columnist and author. Their demand is blackmail, pure and simple.

To get decent gear, yes, the soldiers, their family and friends are having to provide boots, flak jackets, gloves, etc.

Lisa Ann and I are both adopting soldiers.

The Defense Dept. has been buying 100% of all new style flak jackets that meet milspec for 5 years.
The only ones available to buy are those that have been rejected by the Defense Dept.
There are only 2 factories that can produce accceptable ceramic armour, and they have been running 24/7 since 9/11.

Soldiers never have no one, ever. They have each other, always.

I have been told so many times by so many vets that they do not fight for their country or family when in combat. They fight for their unit. Some of the longest relationships are buddies of war.

I used to talk to vets a lot.

So what is the problem here, Swervie? The military buys all that the companies can make and still there is a shortage of companies who make them? Why? Do companies not want to deal with the government now, or what?

The new vests use a ceramic armor that didn't exist a few years ago. Until 9/11 we were buying just enough to keep the two plants working 1 shift. We planned to take a number of years to acquire new vests for all troops, after all, we thought there was plenty of time.

No one is gonna build another factory, because once the military has a full supply of armor, orders will drop to near zero.

This is sorta like the armored HumVees. Most troops are not front line combat troops, but either in armored vehicles, or behind the lines. They weren't supposed to need new vests, They were supposed to be relatively safe. We never planned on occupying a country we hadn't pacified. Similarly, the HumVee is a Jeep replacement. It was never supposed to be armored, but now we are in an unexpected environment and have to retrofit them as fast as we can get armor made.

Thanks for your information. It makes sense to me.

Now about those companies. In WWII, companies were ordered to expand production of needed supplies and were well compensated by the government.

Is it time to do so again, as our military is in dire need?

Female Fox coworker details lewd behavior of cable TV star
OCTOBER 13--Hours after Bill O'Reilly accused her of a multimillion shakedown attempt, a female Fox News producer fired back at the TV star today, filing a lawsuit claiming that he subjected her to repeated instances of sexual harassment and spoke often, and explicitly, to her about phone sex, vibrators, threesomes, masturbation, the loss of his virginity, and sexual fantasies. Below you'll find a copy of Andrea Mackris's complaint, an incredible page-turner that quotes O'Reilly on all sorts of lewd matters. Based on the extensive quotations cited in the complaint, it appears a safe bet that Mackris recorded some of O'Reilly's more steamy soliloquies. For example, we point you to his Caribbean shower fantasies. While we suggest reading the whole thing, TSG will point you to interesting sections on a Thailand sex show, Al Franken, and the climax of one August 2004 phone conversation. (22 pages)

My guess is that we will have all the vests needed before a new plant could be finished.

I really don't think so, Swervie. Iraq is only our second stop in the WOT.

Yes, but all we will need is armor for new recruits.

Some good news.

So very sad to say.

Good information - thanks.

It's much easier to 'ramp down' a company, or industry, than it is to 'ramp it up.'
