Well hello there stranger. Good to see you.

We are having very nice weather right now, and I wish I could get out of here and enjoy it more, but things are always happening to prevent my flight. I am hoping for just 'one' day.. :(

Grannie, have you ever baked a tomato pie? I like it when I'm tired of eating them raw or in a vinegar salad. It is soooo good.


Ingredients:
1 recipe 9-inch pie crust
2 to 3 tomatoes, sliced
Your favorite spices (I use basil and parsley)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Directions:
Preheat oven at 425°F. Follow the recipe for basic pie crust, but bake the crust for only 5 minutes. Revove from oven.

Reduce oven to 400°F. Line the bottom of pie crust with sliced tomatoes, sprinkle on spices. In bowl mix mayonnaise and cheese. Spread evenly over the tomato slices, covering all the edges, (like putting on icing). Bake for 35 minutes. Can be served at once, while still hot and
bubbling.

Wazz'up? I logged on from work right now, during lunch. I must be a FR addict. Even though the Univ of AZ leaders always claim to be broke, they invited Michael Moore to come speak, and they are paying him $27K +.

And their annual budget for speakers is only $40,000. Hannity is challenging Moore to debate him instead and he will give the money to charity if he wins. So far, Moore has declined the invitation. Hannity says Moore cannot talk unless he is with those of his own ilk.

Wow, you are kidding? I hadn't heard that. The local radio guys were discussing the Moore invitation this morning, and also how President Bush's invitation never made it to him last year because the U decided to be apolitical.

Well, as a resident of Az, it is time for you to do some freeping...e-mails, phone calls or physical protests.

Totally. Spiff (I've met him before) is starting a protest that day (10/11) and I told him I'm not sure I can get out of work, but can help in other ways. I'm ashamed I went to grad school at the U.

Why don't you call those local radio guys and ask them to interview those students who are questioning why Moore and why is he asking so much to speak. Durn, I would think Moore would do it for free to spew his message. Lets embarrass him.

Good idea. I only caught twenty minutes of their show this morning on the drive in, but if they didn't already, I bet they would interview the students. The radio guys were agitated, as were all the callers I heard.
