Whether or not you want the flu shot, or can get it this year, you need the viral pneumonia shot they have. It is good for 3 years, and with it controlling viral pneumonia and antibiotics controlling bacterial pneumonia, you are at least very unlikely to die from the flu, though you may wish you had.

I've never taken those shots....with one exception. Back probably over 25 years ago now, when they had the big scare with the Swine flu. I took that one. Never since, and I've been flu free all that time, by the grace of God.

We're off to the Patagonia Fall Festival. With our W pins and bumper stickers, we'll see what kind of crunchy granola festival this is. It should be cooler down there - it's still in the 90s in town. Talk to you later!

You could have made big money betting against your team today.
Though you couldn't have gotten me to bet on the Lions......

That's quite an upbringing there, Miss rattler.
Phew, I'm glad I didn't ask you out earlier.....
Sounds dangerous and life threatening!

You folks all had a different coming of age than I...No proms and dating in my teen age years...My folks were to busy trying to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads along with getting me through high school...Which they never had the chance to attend...As soon as I turned 18 I went to Seattle and went to work for Boeing...The war came along and I ended up in the Army...Then came the Cold War and Korea...I was almost 26 when I got married...No time to learn all the social graces....I don't think I ever had what you folks call a date in my life....My getting married is a whole other story, but not for public consumption here on this thread....Whatever....It lasted 38 years till she died....That's a lot longer than a lot of others....

Westy, I remember your telling the story of how you met your wife and looked her up after the war. And it was so romantic. You must have had some social graces...back then. LOL

Now that is true...you had the uniform and she had the Methodist womens' recipes. A perfect match for a happy marriage.

I didn't see the rabbit today either coming or going...
Did see a few dead spawned out fish along the river....

Darn, someone else probably picked him up and took him home. I was hoping you would, Westy. A domestic rabbit is a nice pet and it wouldn't eat you if you died alone, before someone found you.
To: Conservababe; westmex
It was/is a wonderful, wonderful love story.
